What percentage of games do you have unplayed?
Hardcore Mode:
Think of the game as a rental. If you don't like it you return it (delete from local storage) and if you do you buy it (keep it in local storage).

2% won't play
Cmon bby don't be like that. Haha. Great job otherwise! Keep up the good work and survive the Summer Sale so the number doesn't go back up.

It's nice having a finish line. As stated though, you will more than likely purchase new games and purchase new bundles thus extending the journey. This is a never ending challenge that doesn't have an end and can be started again at any time. Challenge yourself further by changing it up a bit as you see fit!

91% unplayed
Yeah. At this rate of doing 104 a year it'll take you just shy of 20 years. I won't ask how did it get this far. Better get started.
Godspeed,
William

Play Every Game.
Currently I'm on a small journey to play through every game in my library. Over time just as with many of you, I've obtained hundreds from various bundles in which I only really wanted one game from the bundle so purchased it out of impulse. I never owned more than a handful of games growing up and every one I did own I played. Now, being reminded of my childhood, I think it's time to play every single game I own over the course of the next year or two at the very least. So here's the challenge:
This group isn't about being hardcore or completing every game to full completion. You shouldn't force yourself to eat all your food in front of you if you are full or don't want it just as you shouldn't force yourself to finish a, in your opinion, terrible game. Also, for any working adult or young adult working on their education doing this would be near impossible with the amount of hours required for large libraries assuming you never purchase another game. I've seen challenges such as this before and many lose the will to finish. One challenge even described itself as "The equivalent of climbing Mt. Everest" which might be true as the creator started the well-known challenge three years ago and still has over half of his games unplayed. This is intended to be refreshing, simple, and fun.
On a final note, this challenge doesn't prevent you from playing the games you love still. Maybe you'll find a new mistress among your collection you didn't even know about. This is also about small progress and little steps and devoting a small piece of time to a project. Devote an hour a week to reading a book at random or going to the gym. It's amazing what just an hour a few times a week can do. Maybe after at least playing every game you'll want to attempt the huge task of completing them as well. This idea was inspired by The Two-Game Rental Challenge from PCMag, so credits to the writer for an awesome idea. It's a great way to deal with all of these sales and bundles.
Cheers,
William
