I also have Undead Legions and it's a funny Multiplayer Game. It's a game for here and there and it looks like fun without much "training". I am also very interested in the new features Undead Legions Resurrection will have.

That and I did like the original art style better; sort of had a charm to it.

While they sometimes have their place, I generally consider event-exclusive items to be a negative thing. For competitive events you'll have to deal with a lot of cheating, and any limited time event is going to punish players who can't take part for whatever reason, or who don't even know the game exists at the time of the event. I think it's better to create a game that players play when they want to play it, not because they're being forced to in order to not miss content, and it's better to make a game that welcomes potential future players with open arms rather than having an item which tells them that no matter how much they might contribute to the game's community and future content, they'll never mean as much as the guy who accidentally opened the game a few Halloweens ago.

Of course, events are good to have, rewarding players for getting involved is a good thing, and it's good to reward early players, but in a way that doesn't punish later players. I recommend finding a compromise, such as giving players an easy way to unlock special gear by taking part in/winning an event, but still allowing others an alternative, perhaps harder way to unlock that stuff at a later date.

Apart from that, it's looking good, and it's good to see that those who already got the original in a bundle are being well catered for. :) Good luck with the kickstarter and the game.

quick question though: what about the original game that you have yet to submit on steam? are you planning to actually release that game or simply the remastered version?
