Do you like demos?
Looks cool and I would love participate, but my computer cannot handle that game.

Yeah. ><
I'll be relying on others to play my share for the event.. ><
Here's hoping enough people who aren't total monsters who don't love baby koalas (and can actually run the game) participate in the event! :D

I do not want to be greedy but I wonder - to this game will be applied regional prices in GOG store? Would be nice.

This game looked amazing and was on my wishlist..
..and that's before I realized it was a FrozenByte game. :) (I love Trine!)
This event sounds cool, the game looks fantastic, and supporting the developer just means higher odds of getting more follow-up on Trine3 in the future [Or even Trine 4? =O].
Support them, people! Do it for ME!
(Unless you don't like me, then do it for baby koalas!
..Unless you don't like baby koalas, in which case there may just not be any hope for you at all. :X)
Now, baby koalas, to encourage you to support FrozenByte:

Well, co-op games, 4X games, story-driven games, and stealth games are really my main genres- and good stealth games are the hardest of the lot to find. :/
Add in how much of a blast the Trine games are, and how nice Shadwen looks, and there's reason to have high hopes :D
The fact that there's a demo- and an event tied to it- hopefully'll get the game some good support (and won't leave Frozenbyte hanging like the response to Trine 3 did :X) :D
Of course, I can't certainly fault you for spend your money on novels, either.. =O

You love me that much?!
Nono, that can't be possible!
Baby koalas are at an infinite level of adorableness, I'm not worthy of comparison!
I mean, look at them!
Look at their amazing teddy bear cuddlysnuggly fuzzywuzzy snugglefluff fit-within-your-hands (or a mug) selves!
I can't compete with that!
There's just too much pressure now! Aaaaaahhhh!

As much as I love you, Sooth deal with it ;P I hate to tell you: this game sucks. Controls are clunky and unintuitive, movement is stop motion (okay, you can add a button to toggle that, but I had to check the Steam forum to find that out, and it snaps back into not moving after every action you do), the kiddo has a poor AI, and it's not clear where you even have to go. Uninstalled it pretty fast.

The first words I saw were 'Sooth' and 'I hate', and my heart honestly broke a bit.. :'(
I was aware of the movement, the controls and AI are deeply unfortunate. >_<
The game sounds so, so good, this is.. well, my heart is already broken I guess, so we won't call it heart-breaking, but certainly disappointing.
Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to reread that first sentence fragment over and over until the tears stop. :X
In fact, I may even need to look at some baby koalas to repair this damage I've taken.. :X
Of course, I lurv you also, Eeev :)

While I didnt have problem with the controls( its a habbit of mine to check keybinding before playing), stop motion is a breaker for me even if you can toggle it. I just dont see a reason to have On all the time . I had the same issue with the toggle - with or without it nothing changed.
The AI is poor in general though they probably gonna polish it after the feedback they receive but both guards and the kiddo seems to prefer to ignore each other unless one of them make a sound.
While the demo is short the lack of way to see where you should go its another breaker.
SO yeah, while it seems like an interesting stealth game it may not be polished well enough but on the bright side .. Styx is receiving a sequel so there is that for stealth fans.

Interesting idea, I completed the demo in about 30 minutes. I killed a lot of guards. I'm not sure if I will buy it on release, but well executed for a stealth game, and the rewind/stop time feature means you can try a load of different things without worrying about making mistakes or having to replay anything if it doesn't work (well, replay the last minute or so, not a big deal).

Played through it not because of the discount, but because I wanted to see how good the game is - sadly, I already took it off my wishlist. Clunky controls, poor performance (averaged around ~15-20 fps), as well as braindead AI* - not a very good first impression unfortunately. Of course, it's just a demo and the release date is "2016" so they have plenty of time to improve it, but as of right now I don't see myself playing another minute of this.
*The guard literally followed the girl you must escort to that bush, stood on top of her and then went like "Ah, nothing to see here"

I did play through the whole thing (not that it's that long), but I didn't really see anything that would make me go like "Oh neat, I really love this concept". In fact, the stop motion thing was nothing short of annoying (yes, I know you have a toggle for it but it's a pain in the ass), rewinding makes the game kinda pointless since you can just fix every single minor mistake in 1 second (what's the point in playing a stealth game with close to no fear of failure?) and so on.. Still, glad I tried the demo because from screenshots alone I would've been quite hyped for this game.

Okay, I'll go hide in a haystack, get a guard's attention, tape down my left mouse button and leave the game running over night.
When I come back tomorrow, I expect either the guard's armor to be scratched, my blade to be broken or the girl to have turned into a grown up.
What I will not expect: the guard figuring out what hit him ... literally.
Also: too bad you can not shove a guard down a ledge or pull him down with the grapling hook :(

Played the demo to the end once. Seems really nice, even though player can feel a bit lost at the beginning (especially if you skip the tutorial video :D).
The physics were a bit on the funny side, hopefully they add some weight to things and the guards get some intelligence boost SPOILER!?? (it actually isn't funny if one can build tunnels of boxes and sneak past all the guards since they don't really notice anything unless it makes a sound or moves on their visual cone.. or just decrease the number of boxes). They could also add something to the girl - guard relation since guards only herd the girl to the previous (or one before that) hiding spot. No, the shouldn't kill her or anything like that, could be a bit too hard. Also the spotting mechanism was a bit wonky; if you wait the girl further down she comes there eventually; it seems that the girl just shadows the guard almost on his butt and if there is even a small chance, the girl runs to the next hideyhole. Seems a bit too easy.
Steam page doesn't mention controllers, does this already support them? Awesome job to release a demo of the game, the discount doesn't really matter (not for me atm, I think I won't buy this one straight but wait for some time). Hopefully the full game will be glorious :>

Well, the funny part is that in the demo, the little girl seems to not make almost any sound. I had her running next to the guards and nothing.
Adding weight to the boxes will be good. I had some cases where a small tap of a box was able to kill a guard and then a whole pile of them drops on another guard and nothing xD
Edit : Reading gog forums it seems that the game support controllers

So Frozenbyte( known mainly with making Trine series) are releasing a stealth game : Shadwen.
Also they decided to make an event out of it. From today till 29th play the demo and contribute to the global score. The higher the score, the lower the launch price. How much exactly cant say but so far the 2 runs I made gave me 460 points each.
You can get the demo from the Steam Store Page or from GOG (whatever floats your boat). Both Frozenbyte and GOG seems to be hosting events in which you need to post your high score.
Event pages: Steam ; GOG .
Edit: With 3 days and a half left, price dropped with $10. Keep going!
