KOTOR II

Is anyone else interested in purchasing KOTOR II on Steam? Then let the developer and publisher know!

Contact LucasArts Choose Star Wars c Knights of The Cld Republic c II : Sith Lords on the drop down menu, then choose Windows XP, and click on EMail Tech Support on the left panel of the site.
Contact Obsidian Entertainment Click the message button and send them a message.

Both have shown a willingness to sell games on digital distribution sites so I think that if they see that there is an actual demand for it, they would be willing to sell this title as well.

Done. Because I'm incredibly optomistic and naive, I even asked if it was possible to release on the tenth anniversary of the first KotOR as an extended cut with bug fixes and cut content restored (I really fucking want to know what happens on the fucking machine planet).

If it wasn't for bugs, general lack of polish and the ending, I would say it easily surpasses the original. Still worth a shot.

Guys, you're forgetting about unofficial Restored Content Mod - trailer1, trailer2 which is restoring all the cut content, including quests and ending.
Currently it's in its final stage and last and final version 1.8 of this mod/patch will be released soon.
Seems like most people DO NOT know about the existence of this project - they've succeeded at what Team Gizka failed.

There's also cut planet M478 EP which will be fully compatible with TSLRCM 1.8 and Malachor V: Ending mod - Trailer is also available.

And IMO, KOTOR 2 is one of the best role playing games that have ever existed - in everything - plot, characters, depth of immersion.... I would love to see it on Steam.

This may be old news to some, but there's a KOTOR 1+2 collection being rereleased soon. Wouldn't surprise me at all if it made it's way to digital distribution outlets, too.

With the announcement of Steam Greenlight, it seems more plausible that these requests could indeed work. Steam recommends contacting game developers and publishers if you want a game to be available on their store.
