RPG Maker is great. Consider shopping the idea around their forums as well, it's a solid community for the niche interest.

Good project and such, wish you guys sucess.

But there isn't a lack of JRPG inspired indie games lately, so you can't say that the genre is lacking for any recognition nowadays.

I feel bad for being negative here, because you seem like nice guys with a passion for this and you've got an honest, straightforward campaign, but there's nothing here which is really selling it beyond that. You could try and go more into details about what makes the game unique (either in terms of innovation, or in terms of 'no game has done this as well as this'), but I think RPG Maker is just going to work against you here.

Well in fact we plan to replace the RPG Maker for a stronger engine if we manage to get the budget. But you are right, we should update and state that in the campaign. Thanks for your support!
