Australia fail confirmed due to "This item is currently unavailable in your region" Steam BS

SteamDB add free licence returns "Extension error, Something went wrong. There was a problem adding this product to your account"

Yet no issues claiming free and playing on Epic because reasons..

Also if you buy a key outside of steam for said game or one of the many, many other "unavailable in your region" games pertaining to Australia it will activate, be added to you library and you can play it. Also because reasons.. Good way to circumvent this shite if you're an Aussie gamer, accept when they give them away for free 🙄
