Remake or reboot ? Anyway the original creator is working on this, so this has a much better chance at being a successful revival than most project of this kind

Yes, it's set between Mad Max and Mad Max 2. We will learn where did he get that dog and now we now what happened to the interceptor because in Mad Max 2 the car is missing some parts.

Well, still think there'll be bits of reboot, after 20 years you pretty much have a new generation of audience that you need to bring up to speed on the setting. but good to hear it'll tie in with the existing films and bring fresh plot along
