Agree. I blacklist people back when they blacklist me, but haven't found all of them, and don't think I should give games to people who dislike me. I think the bosses here are afraid of the forum drama it would bring, but if it was possible to do it somehow without mentioning the blasklisters' names anywhere, like a hidden blacklist type of thing, that would be good too.

Sometimes they do, sometimes I find out randomly when trying to check their giveaway. I only have 6 people blacklisted for that reason (and one for being a difficult winner), while 37 total blacklisted me, so yeah that's why I'd like the mutual blacklist thing.

I don't think the brass here is afraid of forum drama. In that case they'd practically have to get heart attacks from a large portion of the forum. :) SG community loves drama more than the entire South American soap opera filmography put together and squared – this I learnt way before I wrote my first post here.

Broken various site rules, got banned by the SGTools site, been a bit of a leach while admitting to entering games for cards, etc. They have understandably annoyed a few people and are offended by the act that their actions have consequences.

I myself do plenty of privates, but all are accessible to people in the forum. Some are linked in topics, while others are hidden, and a few are done by invite by another member (I have three Support members doing invites for giveaways for me.

I don't want to deal with you - this means that i want neither win anything from you nor you win anything from me. Blackilst working in both directions looks like good idea. I mean - I don't have to ask anybody to blakcklist me in return as process is automatic.

Mutual blacklist is not a good idea. The way they gotta implement this is a bit different. Just a warning saying the user is in your blacklist and you can't join his/her gibs before removing him from BL should be good enough.
Also if someone who has you in his/her BL wins your GA, it should be a legit reason to ask for a reroll in my opinion. (Let's say if that person removed you from BL to join the GA then blacklisted you again...)

Actually, it's 100% no. I corrected for people too dense to realize that it's entirely pointless because people can just remove someone from their blacklist and enter anyway, then re-blacklist them, or else that it would take some kind of re-definition of blacklisting that basically makes the person completely blocked and invisible and would require a huge change in the site coding that would never get done and might still not even work.

but how ppl will know about gas ? blacklisted ppl can;t see gas untill visit blacklisted person page. doing reblacklisted for example 200ppl takes much time.

I think that's fair, if someone blacklist you, they should automatically be excluded from entering any of your GA at all.. I only have like 10 people on mine, mostly people who won games and then took over 7 days to activate them, or known scammers.. I'm on like 40 bl's or something iirc, not really sure how I got on them though..
although I'm not really sure how that could be done without borking the current system or being opened up to abuse..

Aw, c'mon. Most ppl won't enter gibs from folks they have blacklisted anyways. If the slight possibility that some who BL you may enter your giveaway bothers you so much, stick to the closed groups. Or do your homework and find them and BL them all.

I've got "Blacklist whitelist indicator" script running to make it easy. Also SG++ script shows miniature of user profile when you hover mouse over the avatar. Last resort - click user link and check. No need for list memorizing

Disagree 100%. I've whitelisted people who have me on their blacklist, and I'd say we're both valid. I definitely wouldn't want it to be bidirectional.
What I'd really rather see is more fine-grained controls like what SGT gives us, but built into the actual site. I just want to give stuff away and only disallow regifters (I don't care that they've served their ban, my gifts are not for them), without having to go through an external site to do it. I don't want my gifts to all be Private because I have to go through SGT.

It's a good idea in a sense, but only for those who want it. Chance points to the blacklister not wanting to associate with the blacklisted in any way, unless you blacklist them and then join every single on of their giveaways out of spite.
EDIT: Also, you can't tell who has blacklisted you, so there's no way to stop someone who has blacklisted you from joining your own giveaways.

I'm not interested in entering GA's created by users on my blacklist so if they could be hidden from my view or if a warning message could be displayed, that would be nice. although checking if the giveaway creator is on your BL only takes a few seconds That said, I don't really care if people who have blacklisted me win games from me... I don't want to prevent them from joining my GA's. Rule-breakers, especially regifters, now that's another story.
