I highly recommend Yoku's Island Express <3 Since it's a metroidvania-pinball hybrid and I'm really bad at pinball, I was pretty sure, it wouldn't be for me, but I had so much fun! When it comes to exploring, it actually felt a lot like Hollow Knight, because no matter where you turn, you'll always be rewarded... it's cuter and not as stressful tho :D There's a demo on steam, so maybe give it a try :)

I have completed 6 games from Humble Bundle

I can't believe I hadn't even announced some games and I'm already halfway through the event! Duh!

What a month for gaming! I started the month finally able to play Detroit Become Human which I won in December and almost gave up on due to persistent technical issues, and I am not done playing that game!

And then came the Humble Monthly time and I'm pretty happy with my picks this month. Desert Child was a bit of a hit or miss but Horizon Chase Turbo was a lot of fun (even though it does get repetitive when you play the whole campaign straight up).

I very much suck at platformers so Sonic Mania was not an exception but that was the best time I ever had losing all my money over and over.

911 Operator was surprisingly good for someone who's not an adept (and an expert) at strategy game and the game is really well made from a narrative point of view. I wasn't expecting how involving some of the 911 calls ended up being.

And I am loving Northgard. It feels like the old school Warcraft/Starcraft. The Viking setting really adds a great layer to the classics gameplay mechanics. I have played the entire campaign over the last two days and there's dozens of hours more of gameplay waiting. I'm going to be playing that one for a while.

Ended this month with The Stillness of the Wind, which is a shame because I was thoroughly disappointed in this one. I saw the trailers, read the reviews, and I was expecting something pretty, bleak and involving. Instead I got a collection of rather pointless letters, with some repetitive and frustrating gameplay thrown in. Guess I'll go back to Northgard to finish the month happy.

Wow, I'm hyped. I've tried a few times to beat six games in one month, but I always just miss out. Also, I really need to figure out how to make fancy charts like everyone else!

Do participants have to own the games? I'm asking because Unrailed! is free to play this week.

Hi! Thank you for the opportunity. I have a couple of questions.
Can I include games that I have played (the launch was after the theme was created, not before it)? In the sense that I launched the game the other day and played, and found the theme only today. Or do I need to declare a list of games and only then launch them?

I think I'll try to do both Frog Detectives (if I even have the keys for them, otherwise I'll find two replacement games), Orwell, Neoverse, Hat in Time, and The Hex. No idea how to make a neat-looking listing for them, and not a ton of confidence I'll be able to get around to all of them, but it seems like a fun challenge to try on.

I'm back after much needed one month break! :)

1 Vampire: Shadows of NY - achievements

It was a bit better than Coteries of NY, but it's still a railroady text adventure without any replayability whatsoever.

Such games are a godsend in this challange. Really short, quite funny and not tedious at all. Probably good games to play with your kids.

4 Oddworld: New n Tasty - achievements

Sadly it's not that good of a remake. Controls are quite bad – I mean I get it the devs wanted to change controls from dpad to analogs, but they didn't account for the fact that the entire game they were remaking was built with dpad controls in mind. So that's one strike, and the other one were the changes in art direction - the game is much less gloomy and frightening, you rarely feel you're in actual meat factory. And there are so many lights, geez. New n tasty looks more modern for sure, but it doesnt look better than Abe's Oddysey. It's still a good game of course, and it has a few welcome additions (like quicksaves), but I much prefer the original game :}

5 Rise of the Tomb Raider - achievements

I had more fun with the first one, although I'm not sure if I like this new TR formula at all. The best parts in both games were by far the optional tombs with puzzles, so I'll probably skip Shadow of the Tomb Raider and maybe I'll take a look at second Tomb Raider generation (Legend, Anniversary, Underworld) which I completely missed.

6 Little Nightmares achievements

Another simplistic 'platformer' game with awful controls. It left me frustrated many times during my short playthrough, but I guess it wasn't all that bad. I quite liked the graphics.
