I've been awfully lucky so far with Steamgifts, so when I won an extra copy of Starvoid, I figured I'd give it back to the community. The puzzle giveaways are my favorite, and while I sometimes have trouble with them, I find that Perseverance is the key to solving everything.
Can you explain please?

Yes. I received and activated Starvoid, and it came with an extra copy upon activation. I checked with the forum in general and it was indicated that it was no problem to give that extra copy back.
Was that wrong?

I think he thought you might have meant that you won two separate giveaways for Starvoid and you're regifting one of them.
I can't see any problem with what you're doing; you activated the game he gave you, if he gives you anything in addition, it's just a gift that you can do whatever you want with.

Cool puzzle!, a bit easy to google, but not a problem for SFII fans :P
I got to the answer but i dont know what to do with it :/
Ive tried multiple variations of something but haven't been able to get it yet..
Not sure if i should keep trying doing that or to think of something totally different

Well, without knowing exactly what your "something" is, it's hard to say if you're on the right track. I can say that going with your initial impulse is probably a good idea with this one...

well.. i found a website that does every thinkable way of something to your input, even by providing a key..
I played with it trying to do it the opposite way, and i think a got something coherent (words) but repetitive and i still cant figure out a meaning.. I guess i still have to go one step forward, but maybe it was pure chance and im wasting my time

Oh man. Back in the day, it was just all the time. That game was something else.

Just Googled it. I've never heard of it before. It's hard to imagine they can really do a fighting game over the internet. They say it's "lag-free", but it's hard to see how that's the case when there's just unavoidable latency. How does it work? Is it as good as they say?

Glad you enjoyed the questions. Hopefully you guys will be able to get the rest of the way there. I'll see if I can come up with one more hint before the quiz is over, but I think the hint I already gave is a pretty helpful one.

Can someone tell me what to do with that code it gives me, this is the second puzzle I have completed that gave me something like that, and idk what to do with it.

Im the same and have yet to figure out what type of puzzle these are. Am currently trying a couple new theories on this example but I think im still missing it by miles :(

I didn't even know it is a puzzle, I just see a bunch of letters, which mean nothing to me....

You either, huh? Guess my brain doesn't work with these kind of things.

I must be dumb.

only thing i can think of is enigma code lol. but i did get the puzzle. idk what the code is.

I don't know if it was the easy part, but I thought the Vigenere bit was the hard part, so kudos for figuring that out. Did you get the clue from the answers, or did you guess the cipher type?

got the clue from the quiz answers, quick google search of the word all the initial letters spelled did that part quite easily xD the thing i really got stuck on was mostly seperating the morse letters, i must have got around 10 different combinations beginning with 4, but never the right one :P was fun to try it out anyways. :D

Please do! I'd love to see what held people up so I can figure out if there's a better way to make it clear should I do something like this again.

Thx for showing the solves. Helps newbies at these puzzles for future references.

This is incredibly smart, and also tricky. Clearly I'm not the kind of guy who would solve this, but still, got 7/8 of the puzzle questions right without Google, that's gotta be something, right? :P

At any rate, I hope this one isn't too difficult:

Enjoy!
Edit: Bah. I've located a minor typo, but it shouldn't be too big of a deal. Suffice it to say, Perseverence is actually even more valuable than Perseverance in this case.
Update: Since this isn't a terribly long giveaway, I'll start dropping hints to try to help out with what you do once you've solved the initial quiz. As I said in a response below, you probably want to go with your initial impulse on this one.
Update 2: Ok, we've got a little over an hour left, and one solver so far, so I know it's possible, but apparently it's a little tricky. So here's another hint. If you take a good look at the answers to the quiz, they should start to give you an idea of what you need to do next.
Update 3: If you think you've got an idea of the sort of thing we're dealing with but think you're missing something, just remember that Perseverence (way to spell, me) is the key to solving this one.
Update 4 (Last one): If you've gotten the hint so far, then it sounds like you're almost there. You just need to dot your I's and you should be able to dash to the finish.
=============================================
Well, I got two entries, so I guess it wasn't impossible or anything, but clearly this one was a stumper. I guess everything looks simple to the one who put the thing together, eh?
SOLUTION:
The puzzle had 8 questions, with the following answers:
Vega
India
Guile
E. Honda
Neo Geo
Edition
Ryu
Elephants
Solving the quiz yielded the encrypted message:
SMKVMOHZXQKXSEYDMOXCIQCLSMKDMOXCIQKXQMXVMOHZXQCLSMKDMOXCIQCLSEYVEC
If you took a look at the first letters of the answers (which I tried to hint at with Updates 1 and 2) you'd get the word "Vigenere". If you're a crypto person, you already know that word. If you're not, well, Google sure knows it. A quick Google of Vigenere gets you the Wikipedia page describing the Vigenere Cipher first, and the second and third hits will be online Vigenere Cipher solvers.
When you try to solve a Vigenere cypher, you need both the encrypted message, and a key. Perseverence is the key. Yes, I misspelled it. Though using the correct spelling does a decent job of decrypting the message, using the typo version which I pointed out here to decrypt the encrypted message gives you the following:
DITDITDITDITDAHLITTLEDAHDITLITTLEDITBIGDITDITDAHDITLITTLEDAHDAHDAH
Hmm. What are all of those Dits and Dahs about, Google? (Google search of "Dit Dah" or "Dah Dit" yields "International Morse Code")
Ah. That explains the hint with "Dot" your I's and "Dash" to the finish.
So we have:
Dit Dit Dit Dit Dah -> 4
(Little) Dah Dit -> n
(Little) Dit -> e
(Big) Dit Dit Dah Dit -> F
(Little) Dah Dah Dah -> o
