Should there be no hints at all even during the last week, we can look at this in two ways:
Games are gonna be really, really good, and the developers want to make sure not too many keys go out so HB has the burden of making sure less people buy their bundle (really unlikely, lol)
Games are gonna be utter crap. (likely)
Or maybe HB just hasn't picked the games yet.

Sorry if I don't understand, but could you explain why the developers would want less keys to go out. Wouldn't they want more people to subscribe so they can make more money?
The last 2 explanations are a lot more likely, but I'm really hoping the games will be good (especially since it's Christmas :P)

Some bundles on other sites in the past have limited purchase amounts because developers want their games to stay valuable.
This is blowing it out of proportion, but say if the monthly bundle has GTA V in it. Rockstar would prefer it if less people buy it, so the game gets some attention, but not enough keys get distributed for the game to become a cheap bundle game everybody already owns.

i have and will stay subscribed.
the month will come, where they make the Uber-Bundle and then everyone who hasn't subscribed will be annoyed.
i don't want to make an advertising, but i see it like lottery, you can only win if you actually play :P

That's what I'm really hoping on. Humble Bundle's been awesome in the past, but recently their bundles have made me skeptical. It's just a choice on whether I want to risk it or not :P
It is the Christmas Monthly Bundle though, so there's a chance this might be it!

That kind of thinking doesn't make any sense.
When it was the first bundle they people were saying "They will want to come out strong, since it's the first bundle!"... and they didn't. Same thing will happen with the Christmas bundle, I'm sure.
The only real information you have at this point about these bundles is what was in the last one. If you thought that was a good deal - it makes sense to continue. But if you didn't then just stop. Giving them money in the hopes that it might be good at some point is just silly. That's them using human psychology against us in the most cynical, and frankly, disgusting way possible. Don't fall for it.
It's not like a lottery, it's like a casino... and the house always wins in the end.

Not only that. With the last bundle not even arriving to 95% you are only wining at much 20% of the usual 75% discount for that same products on Steam. And on top of that you need to not have any of the games and want to buy all to notice that wining.
Only with new games who never go on sales you have a real win with that monthly bundle. And actually that never happened before.

And how many hundreds of dollars will you spend on shitty games you already own before that happens?

Some of them won't have been bundled by Humble before, not all of them and regardless of where else they've been. SRIV from last month for example had already been in a Humble Bundle. And I specifically didn't mention having them from bundles, just having them.

It just says you will discover games that aren't bundled. So they meet this criteria if even one of the games wasn't bundled.

If you unsubscribe at least 7 days before the bundle goes live, you don't get charged. After that, you can only get a refund if you don't reveal or activate any of the games, but that's not guaranteed.

I personally am giving it till January to decide if I want to keep it. I honestly am spending money I don't really have for it as is hoping to get something decent. I decided when I started I was going to give it till then.
That will give them their opening (Which should have been strong but instead was weak), their Christmas and New Years bundles. Which should be the strongest bundles given the time of year, if they can't put a good showing up by that time, just not worth it.
The Saints Row in the last bundle kinda angered me, it was their strongest showing in the $12 bundle while at the same time they had the entire Saints Row Franchise including the newest game on their store for $16 and just 2 weeks prior it was on steam at $16 as well.. Seemed like an insult.

Just wondering, but will there be hints for this month's bundle? I haven't seen any in their Facebook or Twitter feeds and the bundle comes out in about 10 days.
Humble has been a little skeptical recently, with the semi-meh bundles and having just put their regular bundles on hold. Without hints, I'm not sure if I want to risk buying the bundle. Especially with the Steam Christmas Sale coming up, I'd rather wait and spend my money then.
It is the Christmas Humble Bundle, so I'm thinking the games might be really good. Is anyone planning to subscribe to this month without hints?
EDIT: If they do include hints, I'm guessing it will be in the final week and we'll get a hint every day until the bundle release date.
