I'm hoping for a repeat of last summer's set-up. win tickets, every ticket goes towards a possible chance to win, regardless of being used or not, and you could spend them on DLC (and for some, actual games). Also kinda hoping for more coupons. Coupons make good trading fodder during daily deals that are the same as the coupon.

they should do like the last summer, get tickets by unlocking achievements but made them not tradable, so people can't abuse.

Do achievements to win good prices? :O That's an odd way to do a sale.

Yeah, I'm gonna have to be reeeeeeaaaaaally careful this time, because I'm really short on cash and have to choose carefully what to buy :\

Happened once but it was more of a "Not sure I want this, oh looky an achievement, guess I should get it" sorta thing.

Yeah, bought Santum with all DLC for this but my PC is so bad playing it was a pain in my ass xD
But the parts for my new pc are coming this or next week :D

Lol, at that time my library sprout more games than the whole previous year before that. Got all the cheaper games with achievements, either myself or as a gift from friends. Pretty fun tbh, and a hooking time and money waster :)

The achievements do highlight some games you otherwise might not consider. Normally what they do is get me to install games I bought on indie bundles and never even applied to Steam.

Yet it would be a major let down if they had game gifts for their previous large sale and now they give none. I count on new similar free games giveaway, but with more restrictions to prevent farming.

Steam gave out tickets for achievements last summer. The tickets were redeemable for full games or DLC or items for some games like the Summer Shades in TF2.

Kinda like the winter stuff, but a slightly different system.

You get achievements by getting stuff done like earning achievements in games and get a reward for doing it.
