Yep! Defender's Quest has Steam trading cards, if you're in the card beta.

Well, this turned out much better than I thought, this is a pretty entertaining game...thanks.

Bundles tend to only give Steam keys, don't they? I guess if you don't care about a Desura or GoG version, that could be worth waiting around for. A bundle certainly would drop the card prices down to pennies though, it seems like.

If you read the dev's blog and some of his gamasutra articles, it seems fairly certain this game will never see the light of a bundle outside of GOG..

But anywho, this game is more than worth the $5 it's at currently.

The dev did say it's not going to be cheaper than this for a while on reddit, he's a pretty trustworthy guy. I doubt he'd turn around and make it 75% off at the end of the week. :)

They were given when I bought the game through the website a while back. I assume it's still the case? A lot of people in this topic have mentioned buying it and not mentioned the lack of Desura/GoG key.

I assume you're buying the Russian version? Does it let you trade that version to non-Russians? Because it seems like you could make half your purchase price back by selling cards.

I know that feel. I usually find tower defence style games pretty tedious. Throw in RPG elements, levelling up, equipment and - DAMN - I'm hooked!

I've had fun for hours and haven't even finished my first playthrough. Got New Game+ to come!
