Creating giveaways, I screwed up somehow?

ga slots can be reset / increased by support
He has 2 choices, the better one is obvious, let the giveaway like this, it's not like it starts in a week

dunno what you did wrong.

making one is simple, click on start field > press Now ..... click on end field > press Now then move the hour slider a little, to be 1 hour from "now"

Also, before you make the giveaway, it gives you a confimation step, where it shows you all the details about ur giveaway, look carefully there at "Starts ...." it should be "Starts now "

i guess you pressed "Now" at the end of the hour, and confirmed it when a new hour started. Since the minumun Ga time is 1 hour (and it happened that it was 58-59 minutes or so) the ga got delayed the start date for 1 hour.
