So, I just got this game and I want to play it, but it doesn't detect my Nvidia GeForce for some reason, it only detects my Intel HD Graphics 4000.

Help please?

PS Not a steam game

Want to name the game anyway?

You need to go into the Nvidia control panel, and go to manage 3d settings. If it is on auto, it will use the intel hd graphics. Set it to the nvidia gpu. Once done, you should see the difference.

+1 --> Select your game from the menu and select High Performance Nvidia Graphics Adapter instead of auto or the Intel IGP

lulz. It's clearly 3D SexVilla or something. Otherwise it wouldn't be a secret.

Come on! You can admit to your copious amounts of 3D hentai games.

(If it IS such a game, I might be able to direct you to a place where you could find help getting it to work)

My GPU is Nvidia GeForce GT 635m 2GB

Yeah, other games detect it.

I recently installed a system for my buddy with a new Haswell CPU and an AMD Card. The only solution to making sure the games use the VGA card was disabling the integrated Graphics in the bios.

This. Even though there is a chance that it wont detect none of them and get black screen.

OP inclined that some games work with his VGA card, it's only that game that decides to use the integrated graphics only, so shutting them off should move the VGA card to "ID 0" of the graphics adapters and result in the game working fine.

Disabling integrated graphic chip in the BIOS would also be my first try to solve this.

I'm not sure how I would handle the situation, but the fact that a gt 635m has been specified implies its a laptop, and as such disabling the integrated graphics would have a significant impact on battery life. Cruel Irony. My own laptop just told me its dying. lol.

On my Win 7 Pro x64 I have the option "Run with graphic adapter ->" on some games and apps when click with the right button on icon. My system is a Dell Inpiron 14R, with Intel HD Graphics 4000 and NVidia GT 730M.
The latest chipsets and drivers manage the use of GPUs and power on the dedicated VGA when needed.
Check the driver version and graphics settings on Intel and NVida Control Panels :D

Nvidia GeForce doesn't support pirated games, if it is a pirated game.

Or the game doesn't have support for Nvidia GeForce.

Right click on your desktop, select Nvidia Control Panel, go to Manage 3D Settings > Program Settings > Add or find the game you want to run in the list, then select "High Performance Nvidia processor" in the gpu dropdown. Press Apply and enjoy!
Clicky

Btw, if you set it right in nvidia control panel and it still shows only Intel HD4000 in gpu selection in the game config (if such exists), it's not a big deal, because it will still use Nvidia card, because control panel takes priority over game settings.

For testing, set Physx to nvidia and try turning on this. Then, in the game exe (or launcher /configurator exe), right click and click this.
If this still don't work, it's problem with the game.

Why do people keep saying to set Physx to nvidia? What does Physx have to do with any of this?

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

I don't know. If the game use physx, it might help. Just try everything you can and then cut out unnecessary things.

Even if the game uses nvidia gpu for physix, it can still use the intel gpu for graphics. Physx processing and graphics processing are independant of each other.
