Oh yes the "horror" continues, as expected. At least better than the Comedy one, and you can pay I suppose less than 1$ to get a part those comics as DRM free.

EDIT: bundle is live, didn't expected such bad move from HB, seems the Comedy was better, 15$ locked limit for Walking Dead comics, HAHAHA.

Also odd choices, volume 1 and....volume 20? surely vol 2 would make more sense.

Yeah is odd, so you're paying 15$ and even don't get all the volumes. The sense here is to make you buy the volumes from 2-19.

This bundle looks more like a "trial" or "demo", pay to get volumes 1 from different comics and if you like go and buy them.

Considering the fact that the Walking Dead comics sells for $8 a piece, it's actually an Ok deal. Much better deal is to buy them as books or compendium.

I have always wanted to check out the walking dead comics, but why would they include vol. 1 and 20.
Would have been way better if it was vol. 1 & 2.

to make you buy 2-19 id imagine, same reason origin bundle had dead space 1 & 3 :)

Yeah, but if they had 1 & 2 and I liked them I would have bought 3-20 aswell.

PLEASE give Saga, Chew, and Fatale a try. They're some of the best comics out there right now.

Hate all you want, but I'm pretty sure that's the first time I've done $0.01 on a Humble.

Protest? xD

Nobody said HB will provide games only. Deal with it.

"Protest" in the "I don't want to support this" sense, not in the entitled "you can't do this!" sense.
If their average remains high, I'm obviously outnumbered, and it's in their best interest to keep making these sorts of bundles, since they've found an audience (that happens to not include me). If, however, the average drops to a figure that'd be untenable for them to market on, then they'll realize that this sort of bundle either doesn't have enough of an audience, they haven't marketed correctly, or the people "protesting" against it really don't want them making more of them.

However, it looks like they average is not only sticking, but staying very strong. So, protest failed. Nothing lost. Cool.

"Deal with it"? I just did! Bam! :D

this shit should be for free as it is an obvious marketing ploy since you only get one comic book from each series, and I wont even start with 1&20 wd bullshit... humble bundle getting shittier by the bundle, only thing that makes me happy is that their bundle sales have dropped like hell, unfortunately they are geting rich with their store

"this shit should be for free as it is an obvious marketing ploy since you only get one comic book from each series"

Are you serious? Humble bundle has given out games without their sequels or prequels. Did you also complain when you didn't get the whole series?

Your comparison is flawed.

Please explain.

First off, you get one volume, not one issue. There's a big difference. Second off, comics aren't free to begin with. Go to a comic store and you'll be paying $3-4 for one issue or $20-30 for one volume (for most comics, apparently Walking Dead isn't quite as expensive judging from a different comment here that I saw but I haven't looked into that). Want all 20 volumes of the Walking Dead? That'll be over a hundred dollars. Stop feeling so entitled.

Saga is in it!
Love all of Brian K Vaughan's work, will get it if I get the money, and if you're a fan of comics you should read it too along with his other works.

Edit:
Jeez, didn't know this would have such a negative reception.
It's a great bundle, just because some of you don't like comics doesn't mean it's shit.
Humble Bundle has been trying to expand to be more than just for games, if you want to protest and bitch about it that's fine, but don't expect humble bundle to be just about video games anymore. The entitlement with people who play games in unbelievable.

I agree completely, I was super excited when I saw this bundle.

I guess the only comic EVERYONE has ever heard of is Walking Dead, so people are angry it costs the most. However, there are a lot of great series here. Saga is amazing, Lazarus is awesome, and I'm looking forward to Fatale and East of West. To each their own, I suppose.
