But it is easy to explain. Ppl think you are an idiot an BL you. Than they enter your giveaway . Why ? Because if they win that would mean that you are truly an idiot who gives presents to ppl who deny him. And their initial opinion is confirmed that way ;)
There is a nice script to check if ppl who entered your ga have you on their BL.
I ve found 16 users already. One of them was even on my WL ;)

Some people are just very weird with the blacklists. I recently won a giveaway, the giveaway creator then rushed to blacklist me before I'd had a chance to even say thank you. Still got the key of course, but made me seriously consider just turning down the game.

So its Sashpeto ... its a nickname i got in my childhood , and its kinda play of words from my name and a saying we used to have then :P
Basically we call Sasho everyone with the name Alexander or alex for short ( like how Christian is Chris ) ... doesnt rly make much sense in my case but thats how it works appearantly D:
So its combination betwen Sasho and No 6 ( Shest ) -5 ( pet) ( which was a term we used when you want to say that someone gives no shit :P )

If you blacklist someone, just write under one of his giveaways "blacklisted for being a moron" and boom. All his GAs are hidden. ;->

I imagine in an extreme case, if everyone blacklisted out of spite, there would be very few people seeing giveaways. They probably wouldn't assume it had anything to do with the people they've blacklisted, thus support would be flooded with all sorts of reports.

There was a topic a week or so ago suggesting making the blacklist system mutual, aka if they blacklist you yes you can't enter their giveaways, but they also cannot enter yours. Wouldn't take a lot of change from the current system to put into place and with some tweaking it could definitely work, and we'd almost never see another "1000 blacklist slots isn't enough" threads.

The 1k Bl thread guy had some valid points , problem is his way of wording was questionable to say the least ... and he ended up getting triggered by all the negativity ppl shown towards the alrady quite negative system which blacklists are :|
As for auto blacklisting ... duno i didnt blacklist any of the ppl who won my ga and had Me blacklisted ...
IT was almost all people with reasonable profiles and i may have earned that spot saying some stupid thing :)

I try to avoid this, but sometimes, after a bundle, in a hurry, I don't check if the GA author is on my BL :-(
Luckily, I never won anything from someone on my BL and if I do, I'll ask for a re-roll.
And, yes, exactly:
I take the whole BL thing as trying to cut any connection to a certain user , so i avoid entering giveaways from ppl i put there :|

You know, people are jerks around here. I normally did very short GAs. Then someone was upset about that - and blacklisted me for only doing short GAs. Though I was upset about the blacklist, what he posted made me think (he said that in his time zone close to nobody had a chance at entering my GAs), and consequently I did my next couple of GAs for a couple of days each. I happened to have much work around that time, so I didn't realise that one of the games I had put up for GA had started being offered for free on orlygift while my GA for it was still running (but my GA had been up well before orlygift started giving it away or even announced it). Well, by the time I realised and deleted the GA, I had already landed on three more blacklists. So I'm back to short GAs ... You can never make it right for everyone.

The whole free game thing is kinda stupid sometimes.
I have seen it at least a dozen if not more , where someone make a week long giveaway , and like on day 3 or 4 the said game gets free on gleam or something , so the SG police feel the need to blacklist everyone who gave said game , regardless of when the GA was created .
I even had encounters with ppl who post the classic free game somewhere ,delete the giveaway cause you break the rules .
So as a SG officer myself, doing the exact same stupid thing ever now and then I point out that this GA is made a week ago or w.e .
Then op comes and explains that he got the game from a bundle or something , but the SG police officer was unyelding and just blacklisted both of us :P

Oh, didn't actually angle for that, but thanks. I kind of suspected I had you blacklisted first and you just blacklisted me back at some point. I was pretty liberal with my BLs when I started here, but I cleared most of my list about a year ago (I think) (also, don't ask me why I BL'ed you, if I did, I just removed everyone for whom I couldn't remember a reason, you must've been among those).
Also, please know I'm not mad or anything. You're not the first otherwise alright seeming user who had me blacklisted and then entered a non-bundle gib from a forum event (that other person also didn't remember how it happened, but I didn't know them at all, must've been something different)

Untill i found out that 8 of the 50 winners from it have me all blacklisted .
