Killing Floor 2 is coming out later this year (Hopefully very soon :)), so there's atleast 1 good game coming out.

Still ... i have to agree with you, there are plenty of good /great games being released but none astonishing (how could they?).
Its either because were getting old (PS1/Dreamcast/X360 times are over novelty's rare as booster pack drops).
Likely because games are somewhat "stuck" in "successful paradigms" and new tech (VR and whatnot) is long overdue.

Just sitting here and waiting for Salt & Sanctuary. Nothing else that i'm really looking out for. =)

It's hard to know when exactly games are released nowadays, with all the kickstarters, early access and public beta tests going around. I mean, you buy the game, you can play it, but it's not officially released yet... and no no knows when or will it be released at all... and then when it gets released there's nothing new for you to go back and all the potential and hype is just wasted on early stage.

i enjoy evolve atm but it need a patch asap... besides that its a nice mp that didn't deserved this wall of shit on release...

besides that there are some games that i'm looking forward in the near future: life is strange episodes, broken age akt 2 and some other smaler and bigger games

It's a weird thing to say considering Steam has quite a few solid games in early access atm.

Games in early access that seem solid:
Bloody Streets, Nuclear Throne, Grim Dawn, etc.

Early access game I already played and it's kinda awesome:
Dead Island Epidemic

Games coming that look kinda great:
Axiom Verge, Helldivers, etc.

Old Game on Steam I just discovered today that looks rad:

Our Darker Purpose, Crimsonland

And that's just one example of a random dude like me looking around.

I'm very careful what games I purchase (unemployed right now sadly) but even as a pirate I don't see many games coming out lately that appeal to me. Although really most games bore me these days, maybe I'm just turning into a scrooge.
