I have a promotional interview tomorrow and I'm quiet nervous about it. Any ideas to make me feel more comfortable or advise on how to keep my calm? I know what my job involves, people frequently ask me for advice on the job but still I feel nervous...

I added some karma/ good luck boosters for my peace of mind...
So please boost my karma xD

Thanks!

EDIT: Thanks everyone for the advice, the karma boosts,... It went extremely well!

sure you already got everything down. maybe a few questions to ask the interviewer when it's all done, dress up nicely etc

You said it. You're the best for the place, just go play some games or go make something with someone that makes you happy! You'll be promoted, just don't overdo yourself!
There are 3 kind of jobs:
Jobs you're overqualified;
Jobs for you.
Jobs you're underqualified.
You seem to be overqualified for the actual job and yet you're in it, the promo is yours! Cheers! :D

Don't be afraid to say you don't know the answer to something. I've done lots of interviews and I like to ask candidates a question or two that they have no realistic chance of being able to answer (these are technical interviews). I just like to see if they'll be honest or if they'll try to bullsh*t me. Make eye contact. Speak clearly (don't mumble or say "um" every other word). Show confidence and be specific about what you've done, but also mention or give credit to the team or your colleagues (if you work on team projects).

Good luck!

When I am nervous I usually take 3 deep breaths before doing something :)

Just stay calm and believe you are capable of getting the job. Have this bump to keep you calm.

Be yourself. If they need you, they'll notice. Advertise yourself, but playing a role won't help anyone.

And thank you!

I think to a certain extent feeling nervous is unavoidable, the best thing is to to do your best to forget about it until tomorrow, so get some friends over and play games or something!

Good luck, and thanks for the gibs!

Just make a list of possible questions you might be asked during the interview, and try to answer them. And do homework about the details of the promotion. Preparing in advance is always good.

Thank you for the giveaways
