Well, it wasn't much and I'd have been just content with something playable, say for example : "Captain Firebeard and the Bay of Crows" or "One Last Chance", I wasn't even hoping for the Trine games or Nine Parchments.

Trash, worthless games with graphics straight from the early 80's such as the bottom tier ones on that list should have never made it to Steam to begin with. As for Dragon Knight, it looks unfinished from the little I played, achievements are still untranslated as well as several chunks of text in-game.

I just got Captain Firebeard and the Bay of Crows from a bulk trade, but thanks man, I really appreciate the thought. That's a good haul, Trine 2 is a great game. Anyway, I just wanted to raise the attention to the possibility that you end up with terrible games with very low production values, and also how unfinished/poorly translated some the games that qualify for the promotion are.

SakuraGame is a shitty publisher that takes advantage of Japanese and Chinese indie devs by buying the rights for them for a pittance, putting the bare minimum "effort" into English translations, and using ridiculously low prices + trading cards + stunts like this to increase their profits. (NSFW link).

You can do whatever you want with your money, but I wouldn't give a cent to them.

TL;DR, but from what I did gleam they seem like typical Chinese devs since (I might be wrong on this) isn't China's Copyright laws way different than that in the states or the rest of the world?

Still other actions they've taken make me want to avoid it. Now if those games pop up in bundles (Humble Bundle or IG more than likely) I'll probably get them and figure out a way to give it all to IG or charity or something to avoid giving them any cash. . . even if that means I'll have to deal with having their game's trading cards in my INV.

Damn. . . I guess I'm removing all Sakura games from my Wishlist since. . . that is FKed up. They are like the EA of shitty VN's. I am glad to know they are treating their artist like that so that I can know not to buy from them anymore and I really hope the artist gets the hell out of that relationship. It seems pretty toxic and I would hate to see it turn nasty with low self esteem (Which they might already have) or shit. . . even body harm.

I tried Dragon Knight and played for 10 minutes before all the characters stopped rendering and crashed. I don't mind porn games and seeing that I thought it would be a nice beat em up with porn mixed in, but no it was just a bad beat em up with porn (Maybe I never got that far) mixed in.

Translate the error and fix the problem? It just said "Thanks for attending the event. Please check your prizes. Reward type name content" to me first but after f5 I got Our End of the World and Sumeru.

I got an error 10.
I translated it just to be sure (didnt bother to do that when I posted the first) :
"The number of games required for the event is not enough (code: 10)"

So my hunch was right. Thats all I was saying. Site works good.

I thought I was buying lottery tickets instead, does that some way make it sound better? There are no boxes to open so it has as much to do with lootboxes as with any game of luck where the house is always the one winning.
