So using this new Spring Cleaning event, I got to see what my first steam game I had was. And it wasn't what I thought it was.
So, as usual, I got to thinking. What was your first steam game?
Mine was Dark Messiah of Might & Magic. Game had SUCH potential, but the game breaking bugs killed it for me.

So, what was your first steam game?

Edit- Added a small GA for you all as thanks for making this the most successful topic I have ever made on SG.

It was the Odd-box.
Including Oddworld Abe's Oddysee and Exoddus, Munch's Oddysee and A Strager's Wrath.
It was a present from my brother. I used to play them on the Playstation many years ago. ^^

The game that got me on Steam was a physical copy of Portal, given to me for Christmas, 2008.

The first key I redeemed was for Defense Grid: The Awakening.

The first games I bought from the Steam store (all at once) were Universe at War: Earth Assault, Shadowgrounds Survivor and Shadowgrounds, AaaaaAAaaaAAAaaAAAAaAAAAA!!!, and Burnout Paradise: The Ultimate Box, which was during the 2009 Winter sale.

Football Manager 09 when they made it mandatory to get steam. I remember being very annoyed as I'd avoided steam on previous games as at the time it was seen as horrible invasive DRM.

Half-Life 2: Deathmatch and Half-Life 2: Lost Coast.
No clue when and how I got these games. I always thought Portal was my first steam game.
