What was YOUR first game you got on steam? Small GA added.

Torchlight II in a box, the only reason I got steam(before I was saying that i won't have steam). And now 183 games on steam.

The first game I bought for myself on Steam was Peggle Deluxe. (Bought two games for my brother in law before that.) The first game I owned on Steam was 'ATI Half-Life 2: Deathmatch / Half-Life 2: Lost Coast Promo'. My second game (or rather game pack) on Steam, which I didn't buy on Steam, was Half-Life Platinum Pack.

Fallout New Vegas

A bundle with all Valve games in 2008.

Orange Box because Team Fortress 2 allegedly couldn't be pirated. :D
(Then one year later Orcs Must Die! despite me pirating it before that. Or to be more precise because I pirated it before that and knew it was fun fun fun. Who said piracy was bad for gaming?)

It was Bioshiock according to the Steam event.

Worms Reloaded

I wasn't sure if it was the Orange Box or not, turned out to be F.E.A.R. 2 :D (almost crashed my PC for whatever reason when I launched it for the event)

My first game was Deus Ex - I created my Steam account specifically to buy it, because it's my favorite game and it was on sale for about a buck.

Civ V on Day 1
It was a major letdown due to it's missing hotseat capability at first. After that got fixed my gf/wife and me spend tremendous hours with it.

Counter-Strike 1.6 and still got the most hours played in this game :)

When they did the free bundle of Fallout Fallout 2 and Fallout Tactics. I created a steam account for it. I had no intention of moving from console to pc.

I loved the original King's Bounty from New World Computing back in the day. =)

For me is Don't starve Together. It's very good game when you have a friend to play with you. (And that is reason that I didn't play it anymore - so sad that my friend got boring and go to play other game. ;w; )

Half Life 2, created my Steam account only for playing it and after playing I've left Steam untouched for years.
