"Your first 7 days are FREE if you sign up before March 7! After your trial ends you'll be charged monthly or yearly, depending on the plan you choose. Cancel anytime during your 7-day free trial and you won't be charged."
So it's different deal, since we're pretty much past March 7, also different games available now (Orwell was not in March offer for example).

and this is important addition, worth adding to OP (added), but again since it's a different deal with different offer (and 1st time EA Access offer as such) I still would not call it "old news". These are new news no matter who can and cannot access it as it is new promo.

Orwell is a nice game that only takes about 4 hours to complete.

yes, but I like to add games to my "finished" list on Steam as well as uploading screenies to my massive screenshot library ;) So if I can play something on Steam I will rather play it on Steam. So I'm mostly intressed in Origin exclusives like
Unravel (there are ofc other great Origin exclusives, but I personally dislike spotrs games, so not intrested in FIFA, don't like multiplayer modern military shooters, so no Battlefield, and I already own and played through ME3, DA:I, ME:C not to mention 7 days would be surely too little to play 1st two ;p)

So... I can try the free 7 days without paying the first month, isn't it ?

Forgot about the march promo, and this one is a set 7 days from when I start? Great then, can time it to play Unravel and likely Aragami is it's still in selection :)
edit: no aragami, but it has orwell, likely they made a change. Still good!

I've been subscribed to Origin and EA access since it started and I don't even have a credit card. lol

then it is different from what you said in the first comment. It is available without credit card, just is not available without verified PP account. These are two totally different cases.
Also a lot of services do not accept unverified PP accounts (I myself opuld not accept payment from not verified account for any PP transaction I may be doing), so it is nothing special that you cannot join some subscription because you are not verified.

So with their E3 conference EA announced EA Access and Origina Access will be available for 7 days for free. Not enough to play through some massive game, but quite good to try out something or even finish something shorter (I reccomend trying Unravel or Orwell).

If you used your March free trial you cannot use it again.
To avoid accidental charging you can unsubscribe right away, your 7day subscription will remain.
