Terraria / Starbound /Edge of Space ? Opinion needed

IMHO, Terraria.
Last time I checked, Starbound was still in the Early Acess stage, so there's not that much content yet (at least from what I've heard). You might want to wait for the finished game.

As for Edge of Space, can't judge it as I haven't played it, but EoS is too sci-fi for me.

I would start with terraria, didn't play other 2 tho.

There is also a game called Signs of Life :D

Starbound in my opinion. I've played Terraria and it wasn't what I expected. Starbound hit the bullseye for me. It had awesome monsters, cool planets, nice weapons/armor and you can freeze to death. The underground part of Starbound is really awesome. I think there are dungeons too (Haven't found one though) :)

Edit: And Starbound has way way better soundtrack than Terraria.

These games all build around terraria, so get terraria first and then move on from there. Terraria is also in the latest HB so now is a great time to pick it up if you haven't already.

Terraria has by far the most content, at the moment.
