Automaticily add all eligible members to the giveaway who voted in the Community Poll once it closes.
Guess I didn't really think about that one, specially since as of late, it's a rarity for me to drop under 150 points at any given time regardless of how many GAs I've entered. Still though, if you didn't have enough points to enter at the time the poll ended, you'd still have 24 hours to enter the giveaway once points returned. Thanks for pointing that out though.

is it really that hard to check cg's open giveaways?

To be perfectly honest, yes.
Given the way the site works I'd been expecting them to show up as featured like developer giveaways do. I had no idea they'd be mixed in with all the rest or what user they'd show as being from. I'm not even entirely sure how to do what you've suggested, and I suspect I'm not alone.

It's not really that it's hard, this is actually how I've been getting to them, just go to the discussions and click cg's profile. As YouShouldFeel said, not everyone knows who is giving away the giveaways. I know a few people who haven't entered any of them because they didn't notice it was cg giving them away. Also, the icon that shows next to the giveaway can be missed since it sits in the same spot as the whitelist icon.
None of this would be a problem if they would just stick the community voted giveaway on the front page, like a developer giveaway or under the poll's section as I described in my op.

I voted daily but never entered any of these giveaways i think since i don't know where they are nor when the vote ends.
So far it's been games i already own so i'm not too worried about it, entering the giveaway automatically could be nice, but as people pointed out, maybe they just voted for the heck of it, without really having the intention of entering the giveaway.
The best solution would be to put the giveaway on top of the giveaway list for better visibility.

I'd rather it didn't, but I would like for it to be simpler to see which game won yesterday's vote.
Looking at cg's open giveaways is a good suggestion, and one I hadn't thought of, but simply having a persistent link to yesterday's results seems like an better idea.

I didn't want to open a new thread for this since there already is one but I have often wondered the same thing:Sometimes I log in to steam too late to see the community GA and it's already over (I know #firstworldproblems, wambulance, etc) and frankly I tend to care far more about this than most multiple copy GAs.

I absolutely love the new Community Voted GA for a game that wins the daily poll. I noticed that it can be somewhat of a pain though if you don't know which game won, leaving it to search for the game to enter or go through the list and look for it based on how much time is left. I know, not a whole lot of work, but still, it can be a bit of a bother.
Anyway, my idea is to automatically add everyone who voted for the winning game to be entered into the giveaway once the poll closes, unless the game is already in their Steam library. This way, everyone who actually voted and wanted the game, is automatically added, everyone else also has the next 24 hours to enter. What do you all think of this? Please feel free to answer with the poll below and thanks for reading my suggestion.
It would also be nice if this special giveaway had a special spot on the front page of Steamgifts, perhaps directly under the poll.
