If anyone "finds out" that they like this game, I recommend buying Mount & Blade: Warband while it's still on sale. It's an upgraded version of the original - improved mechanics, fixed bugs, better graphics, one more faction etc. Also - great moddability (though that's easiest on Steam with the Workshop).

Anyhow, it's one of my favourite games of all time.
