Why is EA so retarded?

well you have to realise the tech support dude (not going to say what country theyre probably from because id get banned or something...) probably doesnt understand the problem or the issue (or likely even english), and is just reading off a sheet of paper...

It's as easy as this, they can't do that so they are forwarding the case to a superior who may have those powers. It's plain simple to me...

Sounds like a simple case of bad wording. It's (very rightly) impossible for him to do, hence the escalation.

Oh come on OP - it's really not that hard to understand:

1. A transfer of games is not possible in principle
2. A merging of two accounts is impossible for the tech support group he's a member of ('we cannot'), but it might be possible for more senior support staff.

Were you really unable to understand this from what he said ?

Just E-Mail them,
They've said the same to me in chat, I sent an email, and they tranfered the game (not only that they transfered it, they duplicated it xD)

So what should we classify using the SteamGifts forum to call EAs support retarded when they go out of their way to try to help you do something out of the ordinary?

Because they suck!
