I'm not so certain. Whenever I get interested in a game, I look through the trading forums and see people willing to trade that game for a certain amount of TF2 keys. Then I buy them and do the trade. I've done this at least once or twice, and it's always worked out because I know the price of the TF2 keys, I know the price of the game, and I see the gift in their inventory.
This update would destroy that possibility. I'd have to have TF2 keys on hand at all times, which I'm not going to because those things are expensive and hard to justify purchasing if you don't actually play TF2 or if you're not trading every day.

"Note: Starting in the next few days, items purchased for Counter-Strike: Global Offensive/ Team Fortress 2/ Dota 2 either in-game or on the Steam Community Market will not be tradable or marketable for one week after purchase. We are making this change to combat fraud and scams, and to help matain a safe and healthy item economy within Counter-Strike: Global Offensive/ Team Fortress 2/ Dota 2."
Welp, this maybe will change many things, do you think Valve is making a good decision with this update? I think they will lose money with this, but maybe it can help the community.
What are your thoughts about this?
