I'm watching Daredevil season 2 at the moment and time seems to fly by with that :)
Any Telltale games are great as well.

I heard good things about that show. It is on my to watch list already, maybe today is a good day to start watching :)

I have this on my wishlist, maybe I will get this today as a consolation prize for myself ^^

Dark souls is quite nice. I love the positive feeling it can bring!
Too bad I already watched Rick&Morty. That would have been a nice binge watch in airport :)
Thanks for other suggestions!

If you enjoy roguelikes, Tales of Maj’Eyal or The Binding of Isaac are good ways to pass the time.

Kids. By the time you tell them for the 20th time that it's late and they need to go to bed, you suddenly realise that it's 10pm and you have no idea where the hours between getting home from work and now have passed.
That may be an impractical suggestion for the airport. So just take a good book.

Saint's row : The third
American Truck Simulator or Euro Truck is a real time killer xD

Civ games. They have a high time warp factor.
Also skyrim, 10 hours will have passed and won't even notice (careful not to miss your flight!).
I also liked the MEs but I don't know how easy it will be to play a more shootery game in an airport without proper mouse support?

I believe KashiMorph is talking about the Mass Effect games.

TERA for sure. It's pretty good and especially addictive.
Also:
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
RollerCoaster Tycoon
Minecraft

Internet connection might be a problem, but I do enjoy Terra.

TERA is absolutely amazing for a free to play game. It doesn't have many P2W elements (you CAN purchase a few mounts and stuff like that, but most of it is cosmetic items), the combat is flawless and satisfying. One thing to keep in mind is that I generally hate RPGs. I can't stand the classic kind of RPG combat as in Rift or The Witcher (click the enemy, mash the skill buttons, repeat).
TERA's combat system is more action-oriented, and dodging/blocking is a key element of the game for most classes. So instead of just relying on your level, items and ability to mash skill buttons, TERA relies on your skills and reaction speed. It feels more like the combat in most fighting games (maybe a bit like the Batman games?) or Dark Souls (although much easier and more fluid).
As for the story, I really didn't care for it. Don't expect the game to be very story-driven - I usually just skip everything and focus on leveling up. If you do dungeons you'll be over-leveled for the story questlines anyway, so you may just skip them all if you care only about the gameplay.
The community is... strange. Between the disgusting pedophiles lusting over the Elin race, the spammers and the dungeon soloist assholes (who play grouped dungeons but don't care about the party and rushes in front and keeps dying at the party's expenses), just staying away from the global chat (or any chat in general) will make the experience enjoyable. I haven't played in PvP yet so I'm not sure how things look over there, but yeah. The chat is the worse, just close it, or if you're playing with a friend or in a group, stick to that party/guild chat.
The game is ever-updating so there's always some kind of event or dungeon to participate in, although I've found that I prefer the process of leveling-up to level 65 rather than playing in the end-game.
If you want some class recommendations, just ask. I know a bit about the best solo classes. Also, if you want to give the game a try, I can give you a Buddy Up Code which gives us both some bonus items and stuff. :P

I don't care much for PvP, I get my fun in MMORPG's from PvE, crafting and generally exploring the world, I mostly like to play solo but do team up when I find enjoyable company.
By your description it seems like a whole different kind of MMORPG and I think I'll give it a try this weekend, if I do, I'll ask you about the Buddy Up Code. Thanks for the info, stay well.

Sure. Feel free to add me on Steam, so you can also ask me about in-game stuff you don't know. :)

If any game could do it, civilization would be it! :D

Town of Salem! It's my favorite casual game right now. It's $5 on steam and F2P via a browser. There are a ton of roles to learn and little nuances to the game. It's killed over 100 hours for me so far

Cool, I have it in my library. Only internet connection could be a problem there :(

Ah, I hadn't thought of that. I figured most airports these days would have free wifi. The games not demanding at all, so even on a really shitty connection you should be able to play. Offline, maybe Binding of Isaac: Rebirth?

There is a free wi-fi, but I will be sitting in this airport for the first time, so I don't know yet :)

You probably shouldn't play Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes.

I haven't played it yet. I just mean you probably shouldn't be doing anything bomb related in an airport :P

Civilization V, vanilla or complete edition, but be careful, you may miss the flight.

I see you have Bejeweled 3 and haven't played it. If you like match 3 games it's perfect for time killing, with plenty of stuff to unlock and different game modes :D Spelunky and Tales of Maj'Eyal always seem to make the time fly as well. Just about any laptop should able to run them.

I like them but no as much. I couldn't kill 10 hours with this game.

Hello people,
Unfortunately later today I will have to sit in airport for around 10 hours till my flight. That is not ideal, however, I will have my laptop with me and I was starting to think about games and TV shows that could help me kill time. For example when I was binge watching breaking bad, back in the day, I could watch episode after episode and time would fly. And when it comes to games I remember that recently Age of Wonders III provided that "just one more turn, oh snap it's 4am and I have to get up after 4 hours".
Please share your time killers. Shows you've watched or games you played where time just flew by without noticing.
Please do keep in mind that while my laptop is quite ok, it probably won't run witcher III, GTA V with low/medium settings on the other hand could be playable.
Here is the giveaway link, I hope I didn't mess it up (for lvl 4+ users, who have sent as much as they have received) P.S. I don't mean to be offensive to anyone, but I really do think that one should at least send as much as he receives ;)
Thank you for the overwhelming responses, a lot of great suggestions.
And thank you for the 8 blacklists as well, not sure how this topic could warrant a blacklist, but thank you nevertheless ^^
