I chose Christmas (my second favourite) since my favourite wasn't an option. Halloween is my favourite holiday/special day.:)

Well, I think Easter, cos it's a nice excuse to eat HotX buns and big hollow chocolate eggs!
Christmas and New Years are just one big holiday here, cos it's Summer, but sometimes one just spends too much time with family over that time period.

Fantastic game. Beaten it fully on PS4 myself, loved it enough to give it away on Steam for my birthday.

Just a word of warning to whoever wins or plans to buy DQ11 in the future: Last month it was reported that SquareEnix is contacting ISPs of anyone who downloads the orchestral mod. So if you intended to get that mod to improve the audio quality, might want to think twice about it.

Like Tales of Berseria type of female protagonist JRPGs?

Apparently, there were a number of them, but the most famous is the Rouse Simmons, a three-masted schooner that plied its trade on the Great Lakes. In the late autumn, it usually carried Christmas trees from Michigan down to Chicago. The final owner was by all accounts a very nice man, who would give trees away to needy families. During his nearly thirty-year career hauling Christmas trees, he became famous (at the time) among Chicago residents for his business practices.
"Schuenemann sold directly to Chicago residents at dockside by Clark Street Bridge. By cutting out the middleman in this way the trees could be sold cheaply while still making a profit. The venture used the slogan "Christmas Tree Ship: My Prices are the Lowest", with electric Christmas lights and a tree atop the main mast. The trees were sold for between 50 cents and $1..."
which translates to $13-26 today.
In 1912, facing financial difficulties, and despite the rotten weather, the 47-year-old Herman Schuenemann decided to take one final trip (with 5,500 trees) down to Chicago. The ship was seriously overloaded, and maybe not in good shape to start.
A fierce storm came up on November 22, 1912.
During the night, with storms hitting the Simmons hard, two sailors were sent to check the lashings on deck. Both seamen were swept overboard by a giant wave that collected them, many bundled trees, and a small boat. Now that the schooner was slightly lighter and more maneuverable, Captain Schuenemann directed it towards Bailey's Harbor. Suddenly, and tragically, the storms worsened; ice formed on the sodden trees and winds battered the hull.
When the Kewaunee Life Saving Station spotted the Rouse Simmons on 23 November 1912 it was low in the water with tattered sails, flying its flag at half mast to signal that it was in distress. Logs from the station show that a surfman spotted the Simmons at 2:50pm and alerted station keeper Nelson Craite. Craite found that the station's gas tugboat had left earlier in the day and, at 3:10pm, Craite telephoned the nearest other Station. George E. Sogge of Two Rivers, located just south of Kewaunee, sent out the power boat Tuscarora on a rescue mission, but the Simmons was not seen again.
The ship was discovered in 1971 with much of its cargo still aboard. Two of the trees are exhibited, but I do not know where. Maybe in part due to the mystery surrounding the sinking, and the legends which have sprung up about it, the ship is now on the National Register of Historic Places.
(Years ago I read a book about it, and remembered faint details. When you asked, I looked the story up. For more information, visit wikipedia.)
TL;DR It was a famous ship that carried Christmas trees from Michigan to Chicago and tragically sunk in 1912 in a violent storm. It was discovered in 1971, and is now on the National Register of Historic Places.

I've read about the Christmas Hang a Fish on the Tree. Have you? Its about an Orc named Dano, one day it crossed passed with a Fish lying on the road. Picked it up and literally hung it up upon a Christmas Tree as decorations. The act was witness by a passerby whom was hiding behind the Christmas Tree, covering his mouth and shivering in . . . Laughter. That person was Cruse \<_<
Ai! Merry Christmas to you too Fish! :P

Well. I'll go with classic Christmas. We're always trying to stick to traditional 12 dishes meal, christmas tree, presents (which i usualy dont wrap in the present paper as i'm too lazy for that), singing carols and well. It will be first Christmas with my almost 6 month old daughter. It's gonna be fun :) I hope. Merry Christmas to ya. Yes.

Thanks for this giveaway... Dragon Quest has always been my favorite RPG franchise, going back to when I knew it as Dragon Warrior on the NES. Maybe someday we'll get all of the classic Dragon Quest games on Steam... fingers crossed.
Also, I agree with the guy above, the poll needed a Halloween option.

I don't usually care about the holidays, for me they are usually just normal work days. If I would choose one over others, that would be Halloween.
Thanks for the giveaway and Happy Holidays.
