this might not be related but if you changed the password on hotmail email or any other place then you have to clear the cache otherwise it would keep saying you have logged out. maybe try clear your browser cache?

are you using steamgifts steam ratings script? if so, uninstall and problem goes away. ;)

yes, it's the script. it seems it happens on all chromium based browsers. there are a few alternatives actually. i personally recommend ESGST. it has that function among many many other useful features. or there is also sgtags.user.js from daerphens scripts (afaik, it should still work great). or SG Game Tags (database is outdated and unsure when or if it will get an update, so i don't personally recommend anymore).

I don't know (yet) how it works because i am noob :(
but as i once was looking for a way to load sessions into the "fake browser" (to avoid logging every time) i had same problem. When i loaded cookies for i.e. Store i could use only store because Steam "couldn't generate?" (If anyone knows how its work i will be grateful for response :) ) cookies to Community. I had to load both cookies in my program then it worked correctly.
So, try to remove cookies from your browser (at least for steam services) and check if you haven't any extensions that can blocking/removing them.

i mean, on google -> steamcommunity.com .. instead of logging everytime i checked the small box there saying Keep me logged in or whatever it is.. // that whenever i close the chrome or shut down my computer and re-open it anytime and go to steamcomunity , it would automatically be logged in to my account.
edit: the thing on the log in page, ''Remember me on this computer''

Are you using "ENHANCED STEAM" extension for Chrome? Happened to me multiple times, didn't do anything and suddenly all things went alright. Yesterday i wiped all the cache and coockies from Chrome browser and it's allhappening again :/

This has happened to me in the past, and without remedy. Eventually, it just fixed itself, but it took a long time and was infuriating for the time it happened.
Try clearing site data using Ctrl+Shift+I » Application, try disabling extensions or user scripts. If neither of those works, it may just be a case of wait and hope it fixes itself.

So i prefer using Chrome when doing steam stuffs like going to store, market , viewing friend activity etc.. ( for me, much easier cause you can do multiple tabs [ also i think its faster than the client ] )
So i set my steam on chrome to "always logged in" but when i open new tab ( whether it'd be friends,store,market,etc... ) or click on something within the steam site, it always logs out and then i have to log in again, every effing time.. i have to re-log which frustrates me because it is already set to always logged in!
so.. is it a chrome problem , or steam or what??
if this has happened to you and you know a fix please, let me know thanks ( your help is appreciated :)
Here's the visual so atleast you can have the idea of what i am saying
