Are those calendars ment for organising setting up the event or also for people to enter when it's running?
Because I was thinking about just making a chart with all the numbers mixed up in it and then adding the links (or maybe pictures that contain the GA-code one by one every day. Sounds easier than using external programs or websites but as it was ment for a one person event it might not work on a bigger scale.

I want somewhere for people to be able to see the themes, and sign up, so we can see which days have lots of people and which days have none. When it actually goes live, I'll have somewhere people can submit links to their giveaway for the day and I (or someone else) will add them up to the day's thread so people can find them.

Shhh woman! ;) I was planning to do pretty much exactly that with GAs every day running for 1 week and a special batch of presents to be opened on Christmas eve.
Only problem is since I went a little nuts with some recent sales I already got pretty much the whole December covered and am not totally sure right now what would be the best way to make a joint advent calender (like for example more than 1 window per day and stuff like that).

ah, way more open. basically going to list each day and the theme, and let people 'sign up' to do a giveaway on that day.

So, I know there's been a lot of similar things (the tube station giveaways were amazing), but figured it'd be fun to try and put together a steamgifts advent calendar, with giveaways for every day leading up to christmas. Could have a theme for each day, and give away games revolving around it (e.g. cats, or booze, or family). I think there should be a day devoted entirely to bad rats, and another devoted to barbie. >D and a skyrim day?
If there's interest, feel free to leave suggestions for themes, or let me know if you want to get involved. I'll try and get a google spreadsheet going or something and people can sign up for various days, and I'll make a sexy thread with lots of tables and links when it goes live.
Even if nobody else is interested, I'm planning on doing at least one giveaway every day. (:
