What do you like better? San Andreas or Gta4?

A lot of people says IV, because of the graphics. Haha, little stupid graphics wh.res.

Anyway, San Andreas. But I like the engine in GTA IV, pretty fun. But Liberty City is boring map.

I liked both honestly, GTA V will kick both down the toilet, though.

San Andreas

IV was...eh. San Andreas had too much pointless stuff in it, plus a bad setting. Vice City is where it's at.

I choose San Andreas.

San Andreas. Hell I enjoyed SR3 More than Gta IV.

san andreas > gta 4 no question. San andreas is the best gta overall but it has to be said that vice city has the best soundtrack.

P.S If anyone didn't know, Since there was a copyright dispute between sony and rockstar 10 songs have been removed from vice city so if you have reinstalled/updated the game since last year winter they will probably be gone. I had to find the original audio folder online download and replace it to get the full set of radio tracks back.

Totally NOT GTA 4. Ironically the annoying cousin wasn't really a problem for me because I figured out you could just accept and then call it off without any consequences. But the story took itself waaaay to seriously. There was hardly any goofiness involved compared to San Andreas. Not to mention that Liberty City was about 10 times more boring than the map in San Andreas. Seriously, how do they make a city more boring than a countryside and a DESERT? Probably because all the fun ways of moving around were taken out(planes, tanks and so on) and reduced to driving very sluggish cars that send you flying through the front windows if you dare drive it fast and so much as scratch anything on the road(Remember, kids, put on your seat belts!).
So, as a conclusion, in San Andreas there is a mission where you use a motorcycle to get on a plane that is taking off, plant explosives on the plane and them jump out to see it explode in a big fireball behind you. That is all. ^_^

I think I hate GTA4 less, because it at least has Taxis. And GTA4 has Episodes, which are way better.

Between the two the OP asked about I'd have to say GTA IV. Better graphics, better story and way more intense. However it was a bit too linear. I'm also looking for more actual grand theft of the auto kind in 5.

san andreas ofc , i played about 500+ hours on it on the ps2 and tried gta 4 and only did about 4 missions.
