I've just joined steamgifts for about 2 weeks, and I've given away 4 games that cost about more than 50$ , but why the contribution bar stopped at 30$ guys ? I just wanted to join some contributor giveaway but it doesnt let me in if the giver set contribution pts at 30.01$ :(

(sorry for bad english)

To sum it up, when you make a giveaway for a game with a * beside it, you don't get contribution for it past $30.

Edit: Though I think you get a percentage of games if you do more non giveaways. I could be wrong on that part though, I've never actually bothered looking into it.

Why are you linking the FAQ as a reply to Dsc?...
Clearly, OP is the one who needs to read it.

Possibly because I admitted to never having read the F.A.Q., though I was more or less correct. Another possibility is to just get near the top of the page to make it more noticeable since I had the first comment.

As explained in the link on the giveaway creation page as well as on the question mark by the value on your profile, you can only get 20% of your total CV from previously bundled games.

The first 25$ is counted as non-bundle though, leaving a maximum of $30 CV that can be attained from giving only bundle games.

so becuz I'm giving bundle games that included in "the list" so I cant have more contribution value over 30$, it can be raised only by giving non-bundled games ?

No problem, it may be worth mentioning as well that even if they are gift copies of bundle games, they still fall into the bundle game criteria
