Losing warmth. So cold. Send rescue.

What method- intuitive or eccentric as it may be- do you use to beat out the cold?

From switching to wearing warmer undergarments to changing up your diet to occult rituals, I'm interested any changes or traditions you may have, however small or unusual. I mean, my self-survival may depend on your answers, after all. :shivers:

When winter comes, I..,

Drink a lot of alcohol. Fake warmth is the best warmth. [Hot toddy and mulled wine vote goes here.]
Drink a lot of (non-alcoholic) hot tea, milk, or coffee. Warming myself from the inside-out is the best approach!
Just crank that central air up to max, and create an artifical indoor jungle. Denial of what's outside my door is the best policy! ..it's a policy that I apply to a lot of things, actually.
Put space heaters everywhere. I shall put up an impenetrable fortress of warmth! ..right up until the circuit breakers blow.
Wear enough layers of clothing that damage taken from attacks and by falling gains a significant reduction. Also, one's personal bubble levels up to have physical presence! ..struggling one's way out of the clothes can be a bit of a challenge, though.
Share body heat. Nothing warms you up as thoroughly as the even, balanced, steady warmth of another living being. ..also, if they have fur, that's a super snuggly bonus.
I regularly escape into hot water (showers, baths, saunas, etc) as a form of escape. Sure, leaving afterwards is.. daunting, to say the least, but it's not like I can stay in there forever, haha! ...wait, can I?
Temporarily lose sanity and wrap oneself up in a delusion of being on a tropical island. You cannot deny the power of my crazy coconut, ahahaha! ..oh gods, I need a real vacation.
Mmrph. Why, I am rich enough to afford to travel according to the seasons- hey, hey! Stop throwing rotten fruits at me, you damn jealous peasants!
The cold is not a threat to me, for I have the ultimate protection! ..I actually DO live on a tropical island and/or near the equator. Mmm, toasty.
Live in the southern hemisphere. Getting to freely laugh at the northern hemisphere for half a year is great! I mean, you'll forget us again by the time your chance at revenge comes around, anyway.
I pray to R'hllor to keep me warm and bring in the spring sooner, and offer him tribute by starting lots and lots of [bon]fires all winter long. ..the fire itself helps a lot, of course.
I use various tools, such as hot water bottles, to keep me warm.
I cut open tauntauns and hide inside their cooling corpses. Sure, I smell all winter long, but I've long since lost any rational approach to dealing with winter, so it's totally.. chill.
The cold never bothered me, anyway.
(We must pool our wisdom to combat the forces of entropy! I have a suggestion that I've made in the comments. =)

I dont think it gets colder than 20 celcius here.
But yeah over the years I have gotten weak. I used to be able to stand harsh cold temps.

Edit, I forgot my pro-tip
do a little dance

Pray that the summer with its 35°C comes before I freeze to death. Ok, that might be a bit of an exaggeration since it is currently 11°C outside, but that is still way too cold for me :(

Those really thick Sherpa lined hoodies, lots of fuzzy PJs, and lots of fuzzy blankets. My husband of course wanders around in shorts and t-shirts, while I look like a sentient pile of fleece blankets roaming around the house

Personally I don't mind the winter and I actually love it when it snows.
As for the cold itself, I'll just say that I am perfectly fine in short sleeves while everyone else around me is shaking in layers of sweatshirts and sweaters :D

Try tea with a little bit of rum in it(yes, rum, alcohol, pirates) , I remember that one of my friends father kept drinking it during winters when he was going out and it was supposedly to keep him warm. It also could be an excuse as he was a recovering alcohol addict :|

I’m a Texan. I wear the only thick padded jacket I own if it gets cold enough for that, then wash it after a day or two when it’s hot enought to wear shorts

I hate the cold and I am sure not build for it so over the last few years I've treated myself to heated insoles, a heated stearing wheel and lately a big snuggy heated pillow I've attached to my office chair just to keep my feet warm. I will survive.

Cuddling is the best way to fight the cold :P
Working in a hot kitchen 10 hours a day also help so I'm fine with cold weather.

Mostly obvious stuff, but if it's really cold I'm wearing thermal underwear under my clothes and long wool socks. Having a good hat, jacket, and leather gloves with fur lining makes a world of difference. My house stays pretty cold, so an electric blanket is super awesome. And I don't have one, but I imagine a vehicle with remote start to get your heat running would be nice.

Eh. To live normally. It's usually -25 to -30 at coldest here in Finland, nothing to compare to Russia's Siberian cities where it can be -40, so I'm happy. 🤗

I like the cold. When in doubt, I remember the hell I went through in summer heat and it makes any cold lot more bearable.

We used to have cold winters where I live (mountain-y region in Germany) with temperatures of -20°C, but this winter we barely reach 0°C so I have no reason to really prepare for cold weather. Yay climate change, I guess.... :|

The winter cold has never really bothered me. I was born in the '80s in the hills of Northern Italy, we're used to have half a meter of snow in the winter and much more in the mountain towns and peaks, where part of my family used to live until the '50s when after WWII they were forced too to come down due to emigration, Allied war bombings and lack of resources and communications.
I'm totally used to Central European temperatures - today, we're at -3° for instance although it's not snowing or raining - and I simply put up my scarf, two pairs of trousers to go to work, a headcap and so on - I feel really good every time of the year here!
I can't drink alcohol, I obviously can drink lots of hot drinks if they don't include caffeine, but I don't feel the need to.. I just keep my home warm and everything really goes great! The only negative thing happens when there is too much snow and we have avalanches or, most of all, landslides that can damage both roads and infrastructures like gas stations or old houses in the mountains that have never underwent a good maintainance..
Unfortunately we don't have such a snow/winter culture like in Scandinavia, we don't have saunas (but lots of thermal pools always open and natural!) and such, or in Iceland, but still there are no problems at all to deal with cold and in summer we really never reach more than 30-32°, just if you go down in the Po plain you can get hot temperatures but here it's a great area to live in. I was lucky since my ancestors came from slightly distant areas like the top of the Appennines in Northern Italy and there well, they don't even have a stable Internet connection xD

Coffee. Solves everything. Just to prove it: a cup of coffee a day, keeps the winter away. There. Coffee.
