Is this real or a scam attempt? "u click on it and received this game as a present at steam"

Someone wants to trade a steam gift link and I've never heard of it before, just checking.

that's stupid, if he has a gift, he can give it to you using steam trade system.

I told him to click the link and get it into his inventory and he doesnt want to do it so I think it's a scam.. Not trading with him
