Skyrim is on sale. 50% at the moment for base, and 40% for Legendary edition.
Honestly, I've seen it on sale just about every season sale.

Most Bethesda games rarely go on sale at deep discounts.

just wait for it, bethesda games are always on the big sales... not their DLCs, but their complete edition and the base game yes.

I bought it during 2013 summer sale when it was at 40% off Skyrim LE, maximum it went last year, but now it will go more than 50% I guess. Even for half price game worth's it. Be sure to buy the Legendary Edition.

i just wish the DLC would go 75% off, sure 12 bucks for legendary is nice, but i want only the DLC and it would be nice if i only had to pay 7 bucks for it since i dont need base game
