So next Saturday I will "become the daddy" of a 2 months old German shepherd puppy. I'm still not sure about his name though. I asked /b/ to name him, but since they didn't come up with something wittier than Ebola, Erect and Engleburt Humperdick, I'm asking YOU guys.
It's a boy.
It has to be a name with E.
If you want, I'll post pictures in a week.

I'm lame at coming up with names, but Germand shepherd are great dogs, I hope you'll post pics ^^
I had one who died 3 years ago, it was a really great dog. Loyal, well trained but playful, and he had the biggest badass paws I have ever seen on a dog.

Echo, Enyo, Erebus, Eos are what I could come up with. Echo is my favorite

Yeah, it's cool but it's a dolphin's name. Dogs can't even do echolocation, can they?

They can't but I still think it's a cool name.
In the end it is Nicox7's decision anyway.

Name him Ernest, after the guy who was played by Jim Varney who also voiced Slinky Dog in Toy Story 1 and 2!

Ebenezer
hands down, the best name ever starting with E.

First German name that came to my mind which starts with E would be Eike (similar to Ike) .

Erik is rather a Scandinavian name, just saying. Though in English Erich and Erik are pronounced mostly the same, you can go with Erich.

Funny thing is that my parents decided to buy a German shepherd first and I suggested Eddy for their dog. Now, my parents and I are going to get 2 German shepherds from the same breeder (brothers). So (sadly) Eddy is taken already :/

Here are some real German names with E (mostly I knew persons with theses names): Eberhardt, Edgar, Eduard, Erich, Erwin, Eugen? And how about Eckhardt (short version Ecki)?
