Would you give people a second chance?
Maybe, but only as long as it comes the day after all users redeem their unactivated wins.

I've been blacklisted more than that for posting giveaways. There is always somebody who will take offence to anything. I wouldn't worry about it though - the most prolific blacklisters don't worry about doing it because they don't make giveaways for anyone to ever enter and realise they were blacklisted and blacklist them in retaliation...

it may not be the cadse of people not liking what you write and even if they do BLing you for writing sth they don't like. The fact of the matter is that no matter what you post you drag attention to you - if you drag attention to yourself and your profile is BL worthy in eyes of many users (aka rulebreaking, bad ratio etc) you will be BLed but it doesn't mean they BL you because of what you write, it only means that they never noticed you before, but if you won sth from them for example you'd probably end up on BL for same reasons anyway, only because they noticed it later.

No. Don't do that. Stop giving a shit about people who blacklist, I've said it before and I'll say it again, the blacklist function should not affect your opinions/ability to express yourself. If someone blacklists me over a small post or comment, then in my opinion I'd rather not have anything to do with them anyways.

I emptied mine because all I'm doing now is whitelists ¯_(ツ)_/¯

You know what they say - "a kid in Africa could've eaten that blacklist" ... so don't
throw them away lightly, and dish them out at your hearts content. :--D
Also check out what this guy [jpg] said on blacklists - just be sure
not to totally screw yourself when the time isn't right though gg.

I cleared my blacklist a while ago and now I only do whitelist giveaways, so instead of excluding people by adding them to my blacklist (when I'll clearly run out of spots soon), I just exclude them by not adding them to my whitelist.

My whitelist isn't fixed, it changes for each giveaway (I add people who are interested in the game, then after the giveaway is over I remove everyone). But if it was fixed, yes, I would, because I don't find that ironic at all. They're completely unrelated to me.

That's odd, how do you know who is interested?
Also I find it very related... you wish to exclude almost everyone but feel anyone should gift you? I think that says something. It's like entering a give away of a person whom you have blacklisted. I just can't get on board with that.

So you're saying that if I only make whitelist giveaways I should only enter giveaways from people who are in it? I'm not interested in trading games between a small group of people. And what I wish is not to exclude almost everyone. What I wish is to gift games to people who aren't rule breakers and are truly interested in the games I'm giving away. If you check my events, they're very inclusive (if you fail to meet the initial requirements you can still solve a puzzle to get in). My latest one, which is currently being done in a not so secret secret way, already has over 300 applicants, so I'd call that anything but exclusive. Also that's like saying that if you only make private giveaways you shouldn't enter public ones, or that if you only make giveaways above a certain level you shouldn't enter giveaways below that level. You make your giveaways to whoever you want, and you enter any giveaways you want. No one asked you to get on board with anything.

Well there is no real way to tell if someone is interested in a particular game. Of course you'd like to think that whomever wins a game from you would also play it but it's not most often times so.
I pretty much only enter for stuff on my wishlist, but even then, I've won a few things that I'd like to think I'll get to, but still haven't. (but then I tend to put heavy hours in just a few games)
Yea, I don't spend any time in the puzzle section, I mostly just get annoyed by them, and don't want to be hassled over a game entry, (don't like puzzle games much either as it were) so I'm generally unaware of most/all of your stuff. shrug
What I'm essentially saying is, people who do only whitelist/small group give aways are actually in effect blacklisting the majority of the community. What you're doing may be an exception, but if so it is exactly that, an exception. (I'm not bothering to research it, I don't care enough)
Have a great whatever's left of the weekend wherever you are.

It doesn't bother me if someone won't play a game they won from me immediately, but I like to know that they will play it eventually and it won't just sit at their library or just be a source of card farming. I buy these games with very little money that I have, for them to just go to someone's waste, so I have the right to know who they're going to.
Don't forget that what you're saying doesn't apply only to whitelist / group giveaways, like I mentioned. Private giveaways and public giveaways for any level higher than 0 are blacklisting the majority of the community as well. So you're deep in hypocrisy, because I can't see a single level 0 public giveaway on your profile (in fact, most of them are high level).
Have a great weekend too.

Whoa, for a puzzle maker you aren't very good... just go 14 pages deep and there's one. I also don't level hardly any Charitable Losers, BAA or event give aways. :P
I'm not a big fan of giving to those who refuse to contribute to the health of the site, it's easy (even with low budget) to get to level 3 ... I didn't even really see much of a slow down until 6 tbh. You even say that you yourself have "very little money" yet you are past the mi-point of seven. People who don't like missing higher level give aways can resolve that easily enough, but it requires THEM to change.
Guess I'll stop beleaguering it though, it's a difference of philosophies that will likely continue, much like the blacklist discussion in general, yet never change. (FYI: You'll generally find me defending a person's right to do a give away/blacklist however they'd like)

Yeah, right. One time, two years ago. Hilarious. xD The same way you're not a big fan of gifting to those people, someone else may not be a big fan of gifting to a certain type of people. People who don't like missing whitelist / group giveaways can change too, until they meet the requirements that whoever's doing them has set. Just like rule breakers can change. And there we go, the "if you have very little money, why do you make so many giveaways?" bullshit. It's like saying that if you're high level you shouldn't enter giveaways because you clearly have money to buy games for yourself. You think you're doing something good for people and then an asshole shows up to judge you when they don't even know you...

Not that many ... maybe 10 ... 20 at max, just a lot of character appearance stuff, better
presets, hdt hairs (most likely won't work with the "new" version) and some essentials
like more blood&gore, glowing ore veins hidden helmets and stuff. The point is I probably tried a few
hundred mods just to find those that I think are really worth it. I spent a lot of time with that, more
than actually playing the game, so it's an ongoing project and a work of art - just like my blacklist.

Glowing ores might have been my very first mod... or maybe improved roads map... I'm sure it was one of those.
Yea I hardly have any hours in Skyrim myself

Nope, while I am on a single blacklist that I know of with no clue as to why I am there from someone I used to actually know on Steam (YunieRozier). I still can not agree with this. Unlike myself, many on here have done stuff to earn their spot on a blacklist.

You can see how many people have blacklisted you by clicking on the arrow in the upper right corner and then clicking on the option my stats.

Already done a long time ago, and since then it has only increased by 13, all who totally deserved it.

Everyone deserves a second chance. Currently, there are only three people in my blacklist, and they're guilty of some pretty big offenses, but if they would apologize for what they've done, I would forgive them, and they would be off the blacklist.
