I listened to the song you posted. It's not my music type but i like the powerful feeling from it (and the place they chose to sing too).
Answer is not easy, i've no good musical taste but love many (varied types) eurovision songs.
Maybe this one, i was amazed the 1st time i listened to it : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z6hvV9-Gi_w
live performance was disappointing, it didn't pass the semi-final.

Could Have Been Me - The Struts
this one really gets me

Any song of Hana Zagorová at her own performence. She died in 2022 and I now regret I never went on any her concert.
Her songs were kind of thing for me after inciddent in L4D. I were playing it for few hours, absolute gore everywhere, but something felt different... suddenly I realized I were mumbling "Je naprosto nezbytné" - songg of Hana Zagorová, extremely positive song which absolutely haven't fit into game context. All was caused by my cheap headphones, which were catching a radio station and I haven't realized. I learnt to like her songs after that and often I used them to listen instead of monotone musics of arpgs as Titan quests.

Sadly there is no english translate of song and google translate writes nonsense. I would translate it somehow like that if I fix its fail:
It is absolutely necessary to
to make the sky blue
star to shine
man came from little
the voice sounded like it is supposed.
It is absolutely desirable
love to warm the night.
This is absolutely important
for me to be happy.
What do you really know about it
you have midnight when it's dawn
A new day is dawning
and it smells good in the morning.
when you leave
the rain only wets the sidewalks,
I can barely look you in the eye.

Not what I would listen to, but I enjoyed it a lot, it felt a bit weird (in a good way) that I fully got the song meaning and saw me reflected in some parts as it all goes better trying to be positive in every aspect. I don't know if I formulated that correctly, but I hope it's clear enough.
Also, I feel what you say, and since then I try to go to any concert of bands and singers I like, because you never know what could happpen tomorrow!

Not an easy question but I'd probably go with Rage against the machine - Killing in the name of.
I still vividly remember hearing that song at someone's party for the first time shortly after it came out and then occupying the stereo for the rest of the night listening to the whole album. It felt like some sort of awakening back then and it's still a fucking banger song with an ever important message, which also heavily influenced my taste in listening to and making music myself afterwards.

Pile - Special Snowflakes

Wooo thanks for all the music!
I had a weird feeling with Sheena Ringo's song, as I felt like already knew it from somewhere else and even felt a bit familiar, and I'm unsure why. Enjoyed it a lot anyway <3. Similar happened with Mr. Roboto, but this one has to be because I actually heard it when I was little or similar, because my parents used to play a lot of music at home hehe. About Tenchi in Tokio's OP, never heard it and never saw it, but it brought me sweet memories from my childhood as the regional television licensed a lot of animes, but dubbed them in Catalan, even the openings and endings. They were super great, so if I want to rewatch them, it's more than probable that I will do it in the dubbed version instead of the original version because of the attachment i have to it 🥰
In the case of 9mm Parabellum Bullet i already knew them (through インフェルノ, which still gives me goosebumps) and been hearing them for a while, and had Brand New Day in loop when they released it ^^
Sex Machineguns and Mili, never heard of, but surely I'm gonna check more from them, different from each otther, but both interesting
Scatman, what a great song, discovered it when I was a kid and got it always on my MP3 player (it would always play after Bla Bla Bla, by Gigi d'Agostino), good memories! Years later I looked for the meaning of the song and I was even more amazed on how he made a strength from a weakness.
糸奇はな - HerTears 💖💖💖
Thanks for all the music and the new discoveries, Kappa! 🥒🦦

I am Brazilian and this song has been a part of my life, especially marking my adolescence. I'm attaching the link with English subtitles in case you're interested in getting to know it. The vibe of this song is amazing. The artist also has an incredible story, with a movie about it. He passed away in 1998, at the age of 50.

Probably 白日 (Hakujitsu) by King Gnu. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ony539T074w
I've been a long time fan of them and am absolutely obsessed with this song and have been ever since I first discovered them about 4 years ago. Hoping to go to a concert soon if I manage to catch them on tour :)

Reminded that name and sound from somewhere, did a quick check and heard them from Ousama Ranking and Jujutsu Kaisen. Adding to the list to listen to their music more conscientiously as I like how they play a lot, thanks! ^^
Also, Banana Fish is on my huge anime backlog hehe

I love music, so there would be many songs I could post, but I'll drop you one that very much reminds me of the one you posted.
Let me know if you already were familiar with it!
Dredg - Tanbark
Edit: And while on a trip down memory lane, gotta recommend this gem as well:
Dredg - Sang Real
Edit2: You know, actually the whole album these songs are from (Catch Without Arms) is a total masterpiece in and of itself.

Yo, those songs reminded me of The Atlas Frame, specifically this song:

Well, subtract the screamo parts and you got almost the same style lol
Thx for mentioning this band though, these 2 songs were more to my liking than what the others posted.

Didn't know about them, but I will check the album and probably some more as both songs were pretty good. Tanbark reminded me a bit to Doors by Coldrain, I think because of the intro hehe

Thank you for the impressive train, Kyog!
I have a lot of great memories with a lot of great songs, so it is hard to pick one. David Bowie, Peter Gabriel, Supertramp, Genesis (the old albums), ... a lot of goosebump moments and emotional rollercoasters.
But I think, Ashes to Ashes from David Bowie will always be among the top ones up there. It is a song I can lose myself in.

Blank Space by Taylor Swift. Whole 1983 album was pure gold.

Can I list multiple song?
Cây Vĩ Cầm: My classmate presented it at a school contest. Her voice is beautiful, and the original singer is even better.
1973: They broadcasted it on FM radio while I was preparing for college entrance exam. Listened to it every night during that period.
君の知らない物語: The ending theme song of the anime Bakemonogatari. It introduced me to The Summer Triangle, this time of the year is the best time to see it along with the Milky Way.

Played Cây Vĩ Cầm and wow, a shiver ran through my entire body as soon as she started singing, what a beautiful song. 1973, a radio classic for me too, I remember hearing it almost every morning sitting in the back of the car when my parents took me to school. Bakemonogatari's enging! Listened to it a few times but I still got the anime on my backlog. Didn't know about the Summer Triangle, now you'll have me looking for it too ^^

From one of my favourite Aussie pop-rock bands 1927 - That's When I Think Of You. I can't explain it too well but everytime i listen to them i get frisson (goosebumps) all over. I aloso had frisson when i was listening to the intro of the Dead Butterflies song you linked.

Recently, I somehow reached level 7, so I'll use it as an excuse to start a little train. The real question is, which song would you like to listen to for the first time again? For whatever reason: how it made you feel, what it means to you, you just liked it... whatever. In my case, I would say Dead Butterflies by Architects. I don't know, it has like a wide "aura" that really gets to you, someone was chopping onions for some reason. Of course, not a song for everyone, but that's how music works!
Train ends the 12th of July @ 23:59
Quick blacklist check
EDIT: Loving how the thread is going so far, lots of new music to discover! I forgot about Loathe - Babylon..., as someone said in the comments, "the perfect soundtrack to the end of the world". It caught me by surprise how it made me feel like a small point in a whole galaxy, if that makes any sense.
HINT: Check the link
