Why yes I am excited for Traffic Simulator 201X.
In fact, I'm already playing it as we speak. ˢᵗᵃʸ ᶦᶰ ˢᶜʰᵒᵒᶫ ᵏᶦᵈˢ⋅

HELL YEAH!
I'm a sucker for good deals so I never buy games at release but I might do so this time since it's so reasonably priced. I also despise excessive DLC policies but SCS has shown themselves to be trustworthy and cater to their fans, so I don't mind their proposed map release strategy.

Pretty cool! I've been looking forward to this for a while. Any other old-timers remember this game:

Cross Country USA

I haven't quite managed to bag Euro Truck Simulator yet. Somehow I'm still quite hyped anyway.

Well i think is was the best route or this game would be in limbo for years, given it is a small team look how long it took them to get ET2 to where it is today, and that not even the size of the U.S.A. map.

Plus the way they are doing it now,the cities are much bigger and so forth,so even at 20 bucks 3 states is a nice deal to start with, but it better not be 20 bucks for every 3 states other wise it will be another TS DLC nightmare where the final cost of everything will be way high.I

As for what the cost will be for each state who knows, but i can tell you if it going to be like TS Simulator, they can forget it,as if each state cost say 1.99 that is 113 to finish the states, though seeing how they did ET2 with Going East and the newer one,i hope each state is not around 15 bucks,or even that for that matter as even at that you would have to invest 855 into the game,no way i would, but i think 1.99 each is not a bad price,or they could offer then in 3 packs or single so it gives people more choice.

I am excited but still on the fence if i should get it on release day,i do have a week to decided to get the steam punk bonus paint jobs, but not a huge loss.

I'm hyped, but I'll wait tosee how the DLC model works and for a cheaper deal on Scandinavia for Euro Truck Sim 2 before getting this. Scandinavia doesn't seem to go over 50%, so I guess it'll be a long while till I get my hands on this.

I was hyped but I'm not anymore. It's basically ETS2 with new skins. Also, all cool features from ATS will eventually end as a free patch for ETS2 so I don't fell urge to buy this game. With only two trucks at beginning at small map I think I will wait - I still want to do few things in ETS2 but I don't really feel motivation since I'm in a moment that can be called an end game.

And I wanted to preorder it.

I was hyped about this game until I realised I don't know US and the states there that much. Europe means more to me. I'm more familiar with the countries and the roads. So I guess I'll stick with ETS2 longer with Scandinavia dlc.

For that price, hard to complain about it being just a 'reskin'. Think of it as a very large DLC.

Annoying that ETS2 is currently exactly the same price though. Hopefully that'll drop, along with its DLCs.

its not better, its much bigger and feels actualy better.
but if they increase the map (sadly you will have to pay for it), it seems to be better than the ets 2
