I left a comment on their profile saying they won the giveaway!

Am I supposed to wait 7 days for them to accept & then request a new winner if they don't?

Edit: I also forgot to mention that it's been about 2 days so far! (I've seen the winner online on Steam several times)

Thanks for the help everyone! You guys are fast! :D

Yes. Just in case, you can remind him via e-mail.

What I do is send an email requesting they accept my Friend Request on Steam (or send me one if they denied me the first time). If they haven't responded within the week, you can screencap the email and ask Support for a reroll of the giveaway, using the email as proof that you tried to contact the winner.

Guess what I have to look at every time I come to steamgifts.com: "Congratulations, you're the winner of a giveaway! Watch your e-mail, and let us know when you receive the gift by clicking here."

But the creator has this in the description: "Желаю ету игру."

Won't accept friend request or nothing; sigh. My only complaint is having to always be reminded by the glaring green winner bar. :/

It means "I want this game" in Russian. Try reporting the giveaway.

Yeah, there's a ton of comments like those in the giveaway. I should've translated before entering. :P

Yeah, just like suggested above, I plan to report the giveaway once 7 days hits but never know; giving the creator benefit of the doubt.

You have the person's e-mail from your giveaway page. Simply send it to their e-mail. It will save you a lot if time and hassle.

Except some people don't follow the rules. Say you send a key over email. They go waste it on a secondary account, you have no proof it was used until you try to give it to someone else. Email works fine if you can trust everyone here to follow the rules. Sadly, we can't.

You do not have to add someone to send as a gift you can just use steam to email the gift, if it's a code just send that via email.

Sure. Request a reroll and include screencaps of your attempts to contact the winner.

Just a warning. If the game was a key, which you have already sent to the original winner, there is the risk they used it already, possibly on another account, and you won't know until giving it to the new winner.

I have the same issue. The winner of my giveaway use a fake email address. Whatever I sent to him will be returned by server. He doesn't allow others to comment on his profile and discard my friend request. Feel like I am begging him to accept my giveaway :(

That is a shame. At least you can reroll in three days.

if it's a fake email I would ask for a reroll, that one is on them.
