Should we have a ranking for all the SteamGifts groups to see how many giveaways they've created?
Example:

Rank Gifts Sent Group
1 37.576 Example Group
2 29.982 Another Example Group
3 12.012 N Group

Why?

Must be just to see the biggest SteamGifts related groups, see the biggest groups on the site, make a classification, it also should help with the recruiting, people will get interested I think.

Would also help leechers know which public groups to join. :p

Yeah, you're right. But we can blacklist these leechers.

Could actually help with recruitment as mentioned below. Now you can only link group page, but getting actual data from it is not that easy, especially with old groups with multiple pages of GAs. It would help to promote group by for example being able to prove what you are saying that "we are one of the biggest most active groups on SG", or "we are the oldest active SG-related group" etc.

If they create stats like this, this will boost up giving away because there would be a challenge between top groups.

Nope, dont think so, not at all, bad idea. Heres why, people are competitive, as soon as we have a top giveaway 'group' or 'user' people will want to hold that position. Sounds harmless, but it always gets salty. Using scrap.tf as an example, over the course of 6 months, I saw several top rafflers quit, or get banned, because of infighting over who was better than who. At one point, a very prominent raffler got banned and the site divided overnight, I'd hate to see that happen here.

This site already has started to segregate itself from public to private, and now with any restriction you can think of. Dont have a ratio of 3:1, I think youre a leech and you cant enter my giveaway. BUUUUUT it still counts towards total giveaways so I'm the best gibber ever. Then you have people who makes their gibs for everyone salty over the other person having all the recognition, but only giving away to his little uber ratio click, while they give all away in public giveaways, which honestly drives the site more in terms of new users.

Just my opinion though.
