So I received an almost three-year-old win today...

Well I rEceived the usual (for som5) email titled "You've received a giFt copy of the game Mass Effect 2 on Steam". Immediately I checked SG to see my win there, but there was no win. So I continued and the email body said (9916):

Dear tragikos,

Hey, this is about 2 years too late from Steam Gifts, I'm sorry it took this long, hopefully it'll have some use to you. Sometimes life gets in the way of stuff

So I chEcked all my wins (thank g0d there is a search filtEr) and found out thAt I won Mass Effect 2 on November 7 2013! Wow I said (113), this is a great surprise and a nice gesture I wanted to share with you all. That's why there is a giFt of Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness 3 hidden in here.

In one way he's only doing what he should have done in the first place. If he had sent it 3 years ago there would be no thread and nobody would have cared.

Even taking the above into account I can't help but feel that this was brilliant! It's weird like that. Maybe I should keep my gifts from winners for a long time in the future too, just so they're more happy when I send them? :p

One guy tried to give away a game he had in his library and I've won it, told that he could fix that "not received" anytime by resending a real key or a gift , he nodded and left this SG world...

I have won Depth once. But it turned out gifter was tried to gift it from his own library. He tought, i bought this, played a little but i didn`t like it, so give it away ! :) So i have never received it :)

I have the personal opinion that it is a better gesture delivering it on time, even if it is not as "amusing".
