You need not much friends when they are good/the right ones :o)
I normaly celebrate it 2x ...
1x with my family ... sitting around.. cake, coffee... each one know that....
and then 1x with my friends (and my nephews can join in too) -normaly at a weekend-..... go to a hut, make a fire, play Pen & Paper RPG's when possible, grill stuff, eat, drink met and Schlammbowle ( = mud punch) -1 liter Vodka, 1 liter sparkling wine, 2 liters vanilla icecream-. This 2 alcohol drinks hits each one like ODIN's HAMMER (after a very short time) :DDDD -yes i am a evil man :DDDD-. I not often drink alcohol and i not need much to be VERY funny (this 2 alcohol drinks and 2 or 3 others are the only ones that i can take a bit more ;o) -and more than others can....-). Enjoy the nature, enjoy the friends, enjoy the peace (and maybe my girlfriend too giggling).
EDIT: And i normal cook anything. Asiatic (european style) or good, delicious german food :o) (woman like that very much^^)

I don't usually celebrate my birthday, I never had much friends and my family doesn't do big celebrations so most of the time I just get a small cake and go out with my sister or play video games. I'm curious about how other people celebrate their birthdays, what do you usually do? Do you have a remarkable memory about your birthdays?
