Second time that i've been scammed, i'm not sure if i should keep on trading, because i'm too naive and tend to believe people pretty easily. this time i've been scammed by an impersonator, i didn't knew that scammers could do that ... and i lost my Ultra Street Fighter 4 key, bummer ... how can i make sure that the people that i'm trading with are not impersonators ?

But how ?! I made more than 100 successful trades here and had no problems.
Maybe we should made "Volunteer" Members on steamgifts, where only well known and trusted users would help with trade. I saw this on d2jsp forum and it worked fine.

You mean middlemen? There's already this kind of thing. Well, not in steamgifts probably.

Yeah and I'm thinking about something like that on steamgifts, so maybe less ppl would cry because of scammers.

But this won't stop people that sell gifts that get revoked or people that charge back their paypal money. :/

Sure it won't. You never know if game from second hand won't poof but it could at least decrease number of ppl being scammed like "I gave him keys/ games/ items and he blocked me."

What do you mean? He was ultra famous or something? If he told you that he has that profile on steamgifts with +1000 rep, then you should check if that steamgifts profile directs you on his steam profile. That's what he did? He told you that he's a famous person of steamgifts? Anyway, you should check steamrep. And of course, if you have proof, then you should send a ticket to steam support and report him on steamrep. Also, if you know his real steamgifts profile, put a -rep comment there.

Track him down and launch bags full of fire ants into his windows from a catapult.

I just don't trade at all, saves me games and ant money.

Sorry for your loss, btw.
