Wish it was one of those that would discount based on games that you own, but the lowest-ever price of Unbound alone is almost the cost of the bundle, so it's still a good deal for anyone interested in that one at the least! (unless you own all/most of the rest of 'em of course)

Not a good deal since if you own even one game you can't buy it :/

With the Bioware Mega Collection (another EA bundle with the same restriction) I was able to remove the one game I had from my account (Dragon Age: Origins Ultimate) and after an hour or so (once it no longer showed owned on the bundle page) I was able to buy it. I was even able to restore the original package to my account after the purchase to get the other game (the original Dragon Age: Origins) back on my account.
Granted, I don't know if that would work on this package, I don't know if it only worked on the other one because my license was different (it was a 'comp' license that I got for owning the original as opposed to buying it from Steam directly) or anything else, other than it worked for me.

"You already own some of the items in this bundle. This offer is only available when buying all items at the same time." Classic EA.
Comment has been collapsed.
to be fair, codemasters did the same with grid 2019 and dirt rally 2.0 ... you couldn't buy the bundle if you owned one item ... still very shitty move

nowadays yes, but codemaster pulled it off before they merged with ea

Can't buy because I own DIRT 5. Maybe I will remove from my account so I can buy. Probably won't because of the following:
Warning: One or more titles in this package use 3rd-party DRM (Denuvo Anti-Tamper, EA Origin).

Doesn't work...
Your account already owns a removed copy of the above items, so you canβt purchase them again. You can restore these items via Steam Support, purchase these items as a gift or adjust the contents of your cart to continue.
Update: tried the method in the OP and it worked! Remove Dirt5, purchase gift from another account, restore Dirt5 and redeem Gift. Steam will tell you that you can't have another copy of Dirt5 but allow you to redeem the rest.

People are saying that this workaround works https://www.steamgifts.com/discussion/MUYW4/must-buy-together-steam-bundle-workaround#DFApykf

You should try it for yourself if you're truly interested. I was able to do this with the Bioware Mega Collection (another EA bundle with the same restriction). I was able to remove the one game I had from my account (Dragon Age: Origins Ultimate) and after an hour or so (once it no longer showed owned on the bundle page) I was able to buy it. I was even able to restore the original package to my account after the purchase to get the other game (the original Dragon Age: Origins) back on my account.
Granted, I don't know if that would work on this package, I don't know if it only worked on the other one because my license was different (6505 I believe; it was a 'comp' license that I got for owning the original as opposed to buying it from Steam directly, which is 6517) or anything else, other than it worked for me.
Again, I think it may be dependent on where you got DIRT 5, if the licenses exactly match or something else entirely, but if you're willing to possibly waste your time trying it, it may yet work. If you do try though, make sure you give a good amount of time between removing it and trying to buy it. Worst case you can always restore the old license if it doesn't work.

Oh I see, thank you for the answer. I guess I will go with FH then (this bundle even though is pretty good, but I just don't see any points of adding 5 games that I know I won't play anytime soon). I have another question though, which one do you think is better for a normie like me: FH4 or FH5? It's ok if it's your personal choice as well.

FH4 is fictional Great Britain and Scotland with a full LEGO map and stormy pirate island DLC.
FH5 is Mexico (lots of dunes and desert) with a full HOT WHEELS map and a rally based mountain DLC.
Ash stated it well, Forza Horizon series is probably the best racing experience there is especially for new / casual racers. They both should offer a solid experience, but I think you should pick one based on what scenery you think you'd enjoy more

WARNING: For those that care, every game in this bundle requires Origin and/or has Denuvo DRM.

nfs is dead for me, no carbon, no underground and no most wanted

Can't speak for unbound, but heat, hot pursuit and payback are great games. They're definitely not the style the three you mentioned are, but hot pursuit is the best visually(and it represents what the old hot pursuit was, so it's not like they went off track with it), payback has a lot of variety and driving doesn't feel bad once you have a decent car, and heat is probably the closest thing to the underground, mw, carbon type. They're all very well received.
As a huge fan of the first Most Wanted myself, and the others, I don't see why any of those three are bad games, I actually think they're great games and I'd recommend them. But I already own them, and the only one I care for is Grid Legends, and I ain't gonna pay for just that.
EA missed it's mark with Unbound. Not sure why they thought it would be a good idea to charge $80 for a racing game before consulting with the player base. I heard the trails are locked and people can't disable them. Just annoying shit for zoomers that you need to keep on your screen. Might be fixed now who knows.
I wonder where they get all these ideas from, because I knew unbound was going to be a flop when I saw the first trailer, not even gameplay. It actually surprised me since the first week or so on steam it was very positive at like 90% and all I could think was that it makes no sense and that zoomers are out of their mind on the fomo. So not sure at which point, and which meeting they decided to go with it, it never looked good.

i played hot pursuit and i kinda liked it and i agree that has nice graphics, but gameplay is more important

It's a great deal if you don't own any of these, but if you like racing games then you would probably own at least one of these to begin with.. so the likelihood of that happening is low unless you're new to steam or owned all of these on console.

Thanks but no thanks. EA has shown its face, no more money going their way. Most games have frequent horrific issues that usually make them unplayable. Last year I bought Heat on Origin and I've lost my (online, mind you) progress 2 times because of some unidentified problem they are yet to fix.
Let's not forget how they shut down games, which still had paying customers (NFS World) and all the other nice stunts they've pulled.
Oh, and why is that latest, cartoonish game of theirs that was overhyped as the next NFSU down by 70% less than a year after its release?

Curios - how much is it for someone who doesn't own anything in the bundle? Because I own 4 out of 6 games and its showing me 92% discount costing 24$
What am I missing? How does calculation change if you don't own anything?
Comment has been collapsed.
Yes, I know.
Ahh, Now I got it.. You can't buy it at all if you own something. Sorry for confusion. Long day at work :D Missed that point
I am not fully getting the point of removing the games and buying the bundle afterwards - is the discount different? is the full price calculated differently? To make it clearer - If its giving me 92% discount when I am owning 4 out of 6 games, what does it change in the price if I would remove these games and bought the full bundle? I am genuinely curious about the point of specifically removing games. Or is there some other reason for removal of the game?
Comment has been collapsed.
It doesn't allow you to buy the bundle if you already have 1 or more of the games. Also, a friend can't gift it to you, either.
However, if you remove the game(s) you already have, then you still can't buy it, but a friend can gift it to you. These steps do not change the price. They simply work around the block against already owning one or more games.
Friend could be your own alternate account.

Since you can't upgrade NFS Unbound and GRID Legends without spending vertiginous amounts of money, I really think this bundle isn't a good idea at all.
Comment has been collapsed.
looks like they removed it, maybe too many people started deleting games to be able to get this from other accounts

i was hoping for a "complete your bundle" kind of deal but they removed this altogether

Will work with another EA Bundle as well.
HOW TO BUY NFS UNBOUND PACKAGE:
1-Remove the games you have from your account via "steam support".
2- Gift the package to yourself through another account.
3-Add the games you removed from the account to your account via "steam support".
4-Accept the gift.
Tried and working. Have fun.
