Yes it's really good game .

It's a nice game, isn't as scary as it may seem. It's not a bad port, however I had some problems with mouse sensivity.

Solid atmo/sound, but a bit boring.

BUY IT. I command you. I really enjoyed both of Dead Spaces.

Yes get it. Played both.

I played a couple of hours of the first game, just found it boring, and completely non scary. All the 'jump' scares you can see coming a mile off. It just bored me, so I don't recommend it at all.

Both are good games, but Dead Space 2 is slightly disappointing compared to Dead Space 1. Dead Space 1 could get terrifying. It uses the type of gameplay where their is short pauses in action to build up suspense before it scares you again. Also, the scares really are good. As for Dead Space 2, most of the game is all action. Most rooms have multiple creatures spawn and team up on you. Still scary in its own way, but not the "jump out and surprise" type of scary. Both are great games, but the first is so much better. :)

I loved both games and the price is almost shameless cheap.

i finished first part and that was sooooooooooooooooo coooooooooool! but i'm not sure ds2 same good like ds1. buy ds1 :)

yes the dead space games are great, i bought dead space 1 yesterday (already have dead space 2, its great) and cant wait to play the first one:)

I also wanted to get Dead Space 2 but wtf the 2nd part is like 7.50 euro compered to 1st 2.49 eur but in us its 5 dollars each.. is there a way to get the 2nd part from us store?

They're both good. I was kinda disappointed with DS2 - at some points it's just annoying. It's not as much of a mind-blower as the first game, but it'll quench your thirst until they release another one.

Edit: In DS1, the story progression makes sense. You understand why you need to go from place to place. In DS2, you don't. It's like the path is set for you and you have no control. Tumbling through space and crashing into the station at a point which is conveniently favorable is just..unrealistic. In DS1, you're doing things for a reason in a logical fashion. DS2: things happen for you.

I've played and gotten a platinum trophy on both Dead Space 1 & 2 and have enjoyed them both a whole lot. Now I can't say much about the PC port but they as games are IMO really amazing. Keep in mind that, though they're branded as survival horror I personally think of them as "Action Survival" because Isaac becomes pretty badass after a few upgrades. Now if you're looking for a game where you need to actively fear getting into a conflict then this might not be the game for you, otherwise its great being a badass (But keep in mind you're not invincible). The game mechanics are unique, there are some light puzzle elements which kind of break up the fights, the story in DS1 is IMO better then 2 but the gameplay/set-piece moments in DS2 are FAR better than 1, I love its futuristic sci-fi setting and the info logs you pick up along the way in both games are interesting as all heck. Give em a shot and I hope you enjoy them.

i cant believe that EA are still asking for 30dollars for DS1 and 60 dollars for DS2, when i saw the discount i expected it for 2.5 and 15dollars or something like that
