i nominated wadjet eye games, but i appreciate the idea of telltale and will consider what you said when voting rolls around.

I wish they could rewrite Die2Nite and Mush from Flash to HTML5 :/
But then, they made a good job on Dead Cells

they gave more than 67 to f4 season pass, so well deserved!

Thought about it too, but didnt want to approve their move with paid mods and I dont like the whole thing with their new Fallout and how they constantly push micro transactions.. They lost so much character...

I think every year we should vote for CDPR and Larian to send a message about what we consider a good developer.

Went with SCS Software-wanted to put Grinding Gears, but sadly you can't select them
And seriously Bethesda???
ALL their game we're buggy shits(as a developer),not a publisher
Comment has been collapsed.
ahah too i want to choose GGG it's literraly the best for this , even better than CD project .

ALL Bethesda games are crap when released & now moders will not be able to fix F76(online only-no messing with files).Dishonored wasn't developed by Bethesda, but Arkane, and Skyrim is still a buggy mess without mods/unofficial patches
47 GB for a patch-SAY WHAT?!?

I think poor writting, shallow gameplay, and outdated presentation matters more then bugs. Not to mention pushing paid mods as a thing when modders are the only ones attempting to fix their game.

So my question still stands(I know OP said it was sarcastic),but when did Bethesda LAST develop a game that wasn't a shit-show?
And like you, don't care so much about bugs-my favorite game of ALL times(finished it 10 times at least) is Vampire The Masquerade Bloodlines-and that game should win an Oscar for bugs

You can't because they didn't put up a home page yet.
What you could do is quote one of their comments to get their attention and tell them to create a homepage so you can vote for them.

Team Cherry for some reason I couldn't pull up either.
EDIT: I found out why.. they don't have their Home Page setup.

Damn... I hope it will be available in the next days. An incredibly good metroidvania with a ton of content and a little price. I've never seen this huge amount of creatures and bosses in other metroidvania. I'm maybe biased because my enjoyment for this game, but I think it's really one of these games where you can feel the love of the developers for their creation. They really deserve it (in my opinion).
Edit: Ah ok, maybe someone should tell them to create one.
Edit 2 : Apparently it's already mentioned on their forum. Wait and see....

I've posted and let them know so hopefully they read the comment and create one.

I tried find you xD
I didn't think about Bug Reporting, it may reach them faster, thank to you ;)

I had the same thought as you and went with Telltale.

Telltale devs of the year? Riiiiiiight. Larian, Warhorse Studios and IO interactive for me.

For me it's come down to Thing Trunk for Book of Demons which was what I voted for Game of the year for 2017 or Team Cherry for Hollow Knight which I voted Game of the Year 2018.
Still deciding.

I am voting the developers or Warframe. Last year their game won the Labor of Love award and this year and went event bigger with the game. They deserve it for listening and working hard.
For Labor of Love this year my vote is Path of Exile. They deserve it too.

+1 for Labor of Love
And isn't it odd that a F2P game can thrive for 5 years now & at the same time big publishers are bitching about piracy

I met a person in game that told me that he was offered free items for another player but turned them down. I said why? He said "I don't mind paying for them and supporting the game."
This is their achievment. If you are good at and love what you do, people will appreciate it. Not everyone, but most will. And that is what matters.

I wanted to nominate DONTNOD Entertainment, because they did a great job this year, but there was no option to nominate them, so I nominated Daedalic Entertainment.

Try again. Couldn't nominate them earlier, but now you can. At least, I managed to :)

Thank you for letting me know. I managed to find it under the name DONTNOD Official. I may love Daedalic Entertainment, but DONTNOD is the one that made the masterpieces this year.

I nominated Wadjet Eye. As for choosing Telltale, frankly, I don't think that's a good idea: as much as I'm sad about their untimely demise, they haven't released anything really worthwhile for a while now.

yay, i nominated wadjet eye too! the only dev i'd preorder

SEGA
(Shenmue), Yakuza series, VALKYRIA CHRONICLES 4, Sonic Mania, Puyo Puyo™Tetris.....
I really like this company since many years. (Some stupid decisions over years, but still nice and brilliant games, and the best support for their old games. Better than Nintendo in matters retro games)
Comment has been collapsed.
Yes, and you can buy the season pass for even more content.

Most developers didnt appear for me, but publishers did
Anyway, Capcom as been doing good work with the Resident evil franchise, so this year my vote goes to them. Man! i wish they owned Silent hill

My thought is that we should consider nominating Telltale Games as the "Developer of the Year" because this is their last year ever as a studio.
As an outpouring of Fan Love and Appreciation for all their years of great, good, and not-so-good games, lets nominate them this year. It will be, among other things, a nice pat on the back for them--audience applause, if you will.
On the other hand, I have become aware of some not-nice financial actions towards their now-former employees. Do what you will. (You were going to anyway. ,-P)
Alternates for me include Bethesda, Traveller's Tales (if I could figure out how to do so--they do not have a steam page), Bohemia Interactive, Irrational Games, Bioware, and CD Projekt Red.
Your thoughts?
