HISTORY-BASED (like hl2, dragon age, or even a real history game, but I don't own anyone yet)
ZOMBIE
and last but not least, "PASSA-TEMPO"... this is a tough one... it's like something you play that does not take much time... like Angry Birds, you know? I don't know any English word for this... the games in this category are Magicka: Wizard wars, Terraria, Orcs must die 1 & 2, Path of Exile, Robocraft, Path of Exile and Realm of the Mad God... >_> yeah...
Sorry about my English, btw.

COMPLETED - Games I have played through and do not plan to do it again.
DEMOS/JUNK - Demos, free weekends, other junk.
NOT INSTALLED - Games I have not yet installed.
UPDATES REQUIRED - Games that requires to be updated.
GAMES - Everything else.
NOT INSTALLED and UPDATES REQUIRED does not have much use now, as I lost everything recently due to a dead hard drive. Basically, everything's NOT INSTALLED. :P

I just started using Categories but I've only broke it down into types of games. FPS, RPG etc. I did that because some games I can't remember just by name alone WTF they were/are.

besides, could anyone tell me, how do I hide games that I don't own? Thing is, I have to share computer with my brother, and I can see all his games in my library for some reason, even though he uses another windows account. This annoys me very badly. If I chose to show only my account's games, I won't see favorites... plz help

Yeah, when you have too many games.

I recently put mine into alphabetical categories so that I could collapse them and not have to scroll so much. I did want to organise them by genre but I've got so much bundle stuff that I don't even know what it is that it would have taken a week of solid work.

I don't. I keep meaning to get around to it but i'm too lazy too.
If I do though I will probably just get rid of the crappy ones in a section that I can minimize and forgot about forever!

Do you use categories? If the answer is yes, how do you rename these categories to organize your library?
I'm curious because I have a chaotic library, I only used 2 categories "Meh" and "Good", but I don't like it.
EDIT: So, i modified my categories. I've "only" 100 games and I like this organization:
-Favorites
-Beta
-Bioshock Trilogy
-Dark Souls PTDE & II
-Football Manager
-Gifts & Bundles
-Historical
-Metro Redux Bundle
-Multiplayer Online
-Portal Bundle
-Racing & Sim
-Square Enix
-Survival Online
-Telltale
Many categories, but I like it.
